Here's a little Spoby Story for everyone who loves Spoby as much as I do.
(Important: They are NOT together at the beginning)
Spencer Pov.:
It would change everything. If I just took this one pill, everything would be okay again. I know it. But why am I so excited then and why do I wait any longer?
*Flashback*
T: „Spencer, if youever get the urge to take pills again, call me first!"
*scene changes, new flashback *
S: „I'm done with that. I promise!"
*flashbacks are over'
Narrator Pov:
Spencer stared on her phone. She looked a bit shocked and her hands were shaking. She took the phone then she threw it on her bed again. It hit the pill box and all the pills fell on the floor. Spencer reached out her hand to grab one.
*Flashback*
T: You promised you'd call me!
*scene changes *
T: Spencer, don't do that again!! I was worried about you, okay? I care about you! You can't just throw away your life! You are throwing away my life at the same time!
*Flashbacks over *
Spencer was crying now. She has been so selfish. She hated her life so much, she's been so desperate, it didn't even come to her mind that someone would really care about her. That someone actually loved her! Her hands were totally shaking now, but she still managed it to grab her phone and to search Toby's number.
„Hello?", Spencer couldn't help,but as soon as she heard his sleepy voice, she had to smile.
„Hello? Spencer is that you?" Tobyasked again. „Yeah, it's me..." Spencer started. „Spencer, it's4 pm! Why are you calling me?" Spencer hadn't even realized that it was that late. She hadn't slept any minute, but she was absolutely not tired. „It's just... how are you?" „Spence, are you serious you are calling me in the middle of the night to ask me that?"„Yeah, why not?" „Because I know you! You would never do thi sif it wasn't an emergency!" „No.. just forget it!" Spencer fel ttears coming up again. „No; Spencer I am not going to just forget it! Tell me now,otherwise I won't let go! Spencer! Are you crying?" „I... one ofthem would change everything! Everything would be fine again!" Tobyhad a very clear idea on what the situation was now and he absolutely didn't like it. „Spencer, I dare you! Stay where you are and don't do anything you will regret later.! Toby didn't feel sleepy anymore.He grabbed his jacket and jumped into his truck. Fortunately it was early in the morning so the streets were empty and he reached Spencer's house after 3 minutes of driving faster than he ever did.The door was unlocked and he bursted into Spencer's room. Spencer,the girl he never stopped loving, lay sobbing and crying on her bed,allaround her white pills. „Spencer!" he shouted and ran over toher. He picked her up as soft as possible and wrapped his handsaround her. He lay her down on her bed and lay down next to her without ending the hug. Then he turned her around so he could look into her eyes. He softly wiped her tears away. Then he heard Spencer's voice for the first time in real this day: „Please, don' tlet me go!" „I will never do it again, Spencer! God, how silly have I ever been that I let you go this day! I will never forgive me! All the time iI wasn't with you, I had that feeling. That feelingthat something was missing. It was you. I have always missed you! Ofcourse I loved Yvonne, but it was more a matey love. But with you itwas different!" First he didn't dare to look into her eyes, but when he finally did, he saw that Spencer was crying harder now. But there was a slight shine in her eyes. Toby knew that shine. He saw it once, when he told her that pretending not to love her has been the hardest thing he's ever done. He took a deep breath and pulled hercloser. She sobbed and lay her head on his chest. He put his head onto her head. They stayed in this position until he heard that Spencer has calmed down again. He carefully picked her up and carriedher into the bathroom. „What are you doing?" Spencer asked quietly. „You are going to take a bath now. This is always helping!" When there was enough water in the bathtub he found a bath bomb and also put it into the bathtub. Then he went back toSpencer and unzipped her jacket, put he paid attention that he always looked into Spencer's eyes to see if she was uncomfortable with it.Spencer blushed a little and turned away her head. Toby made her loo kinto his eyes again. „Nothing I haven't already seen." hew hispered into her ears, making her blush even more. As he laid Spencer down into the bathtub, she seemed to relax more and more and after he had massaged her shoulders a bit, she fell asleep. When he was sure that she was asleep, he was about to stand up when he saw something that caught his attention. He d'hadn't seen it earlier because he was too busy calming Spencer down, but now he saw it.Spencer wore the necklace. The scrabble necklace he had given her some years ago. Now he couldn't help bursting into tears. Still in tears he stood up and walked back to Spencer's room. He collected the pills, put them back into the pill box and put the pill boxinto his jacket pocket. He would get rid of itas soon as possible.Then he walked over to her wardrobe and took her red furry pyjama.For a minute he sat down on her bed and took out the pocket watch Spencer donated him. Yes, he was still taking it everywhere as well.It would feel wrong to give it away. „You are my once upon a time"for a thousand time he read the sentence. Damn he loved her so much.He still loved her more than anything, he had never stopped lovingher. He made a desicion. If he didn't tell her today, he would neverget the chance again. He stood up and walked over to the bathroom.For a moment he just stood there and watched her. „No matter whatshe is doing, she is always the most beautiful girl in this world!"he thought. And the mean voice in his head added: „Yeah, hun, andyou let her fall!" Toby ignored this voice and walked over to Spencer. He picked her up, she was still asleep, and dried her. After that he wrapped her into her pyjama and carried her back to her bed. He laid her down again and sat down next to her.
