"cole?" marley asked and she let him in.

"hey marley" cole mumbled and stepped in the house. "you are beautiful"

"yeah i doubt that" she shrugged. "what are you doing here? i thought you are with that new who you wanted to try with" she sassed because she didn't know what to say.

"i'm... i'm sorry i didn't mean to..." she said but cole interrupted him.

"no no i deserved it" he shrugged. "i'm sorry for what i did. i was just... scared you know"

"you? scared?" marley laughed. she didn't know what's happening. she was afraid of getting hurt again.

"yeah. i mean... i saw that you tryna not to falling love and i freaked out that i might hurt you. so i just broke up with you because i thought it would be easier" cole explained. "but... i brought it to you i hope you like it"

marley reached out for the bear and placed it on the couch.
