Part 12: Bheege Naina

Swara had locked herself in the room, Kavita was outside knocking on it while Sanskar stood in the back, feeling guilty and upset.

Sharmishta and Shekhar were also worried.

"Swara, please. Give us a chance to explain."

The door unlocks and Kavita pulls the handle down, opening the door. They see Swara sitting on her wheelchair and facing them.

"What is left to say? You already said a lot."

"No Swara. . ."

"I'm sorry." Sanskar apologises but Swara ignores him and only looks at Kavita.

"You were my friend Kavita so that's why I'm telling you. Leave me alone and never comeback."

"I was your friend? What do you mean Swara? Whatever we did was just to help you."

"I appreciate that, thank you very much but planning all that without me and not even bothering to tell me about stuff I should know isn't cool. You broke my trust Kavita. I don't think it can be the same anymore."

"Bitto. . ."

"It's Swara Mr Maheshwari." She cuts him in between without looking at him.

"I want to be left alone, leave." She adds and turns around with her wheelchair.

Sanskar walks out and so does Kavita, Sharmishta and Shekhar also go out and close the door from behind.

Sanskar was storming out of the house and stops by his car, he slams his hand on the top and regrets.

"I lost her." He mummers to himself with pain stinging him and he doesn't know why there is pain.

"You can't give up like this. If you want her forgiveness then you need to earn it. We need to make it up to her, we did hurt her by not sharing anything with her. She's most hurt with you than with me because you didn't tell her you were her childhood friend." Kavita explains and Sanskar sighs, giving up.

"How? She doesn't even want to hear my voice, let alone see my face."

"Use your brain and find out ways to apologise to her, just don't give up. She's your Bitto, you should know na." Kavita utters and then walks away, leaving Sanskar to think on his own.

Swara was sitting opposite the drawer and opens it, pulling out a letter. She inhales a deep breath and picks her phone up.

There was a life changing offer in that letter which she didn't reply back to because she wanted to stay here but now, she has no one and nothing to stay for.

Just before dialling the number, she gets a message.

"I'm sorry Swara. Please forgive me. You also went to the hotel without telling me didn't you? Whatever I did was for you, think about it. How would've I told you everything? The day he met me was on the same day he came to office and that's when he told me about the plan. In between that how was I meant to tell you? I booked your meeting with him and thought after you come back I'll tell you but that's when Sahil got him kidnapped because he couldn't wait. Then the video tension was on our mind, I'm sorry Swara if I ever hurt you. I never intended to."

Swara thinks about Kavita's words and then remembers Sanskar telling his plan to Sahil. He had mentioned that he met Kavita.

She sighs, messaging Kavita back and forgiving her but will she be able to trust Kavita again. Well everyone deserve another chance and that's what Swara thought but if Kavita breaks this chance then it will be impossible for Swara to trust her again.
