sitting stunned on a cold bench alone was one thing, but being there when she wasn't supposed to was another.
sitting up from her seat, embarrassed and nervous at the same time, duran patted her sweater and sighed into the freezing air.
she was already half way home when jinyoung came by her side in his bike. ❝ where are we headed now, guguduran? ❞ he teased.
duran scoffed, ❝ "we?" i think you mean, "me." ❞
jinyoung stopped talking, but continued to follow her. ❝ what did the cell say when his sister stepped on his foot? ❞ he asked, out of nowhere.
❝ what? ❞ duran almost already laughed. jinyoung shrugged.
❝ just answer it, it's funny, ❞ he giggled, getting off his bike to hold it by his side while walking next to duran.
❝ what did the cell say? ❞ she asked him, acting like she wasn't interested, but she was. whatever jinyoung said made her both confused and more curious at the same time.
❝ mitosis! ❞ he bursted out laughing, stopping for a few moments. a few times, his laugh became silent at how hard he was laughing.
❝ i really don't understand why you're laughing so hard, ❞ duran giggled at the sight of him, laughing at his own joke. jinyoung finally cooled off and waved his hand at her, meaning that he was all right.
❝ ah, sorry, you wanna eat something? ❞ his voice cracked, which he coughed off. duran chuckled and nodded to him.
