Chapter 17

Beep! Beep! Beep! This is the sound that every human being hates.The sound off my alarm clock going off. Daniel told me to stop going to school because people were watching me but for some strange reason he picked today of all days to tell me I could go.

"What do you want for breakfast?" .Leo asked while I tried to keep my eyes open. "What are you doing up so early?" .I replied. "Morning run and I'm starving so if you want to eat breakfast with me speak now".He said as I rolled my eyes and took a banana so I could go to college.

" Laya!!! ".Someone shouted as I turned around to see my best friend Gianna. I was surprised considering that she moved to Canada when we were eight." Gianna? What are you doing here I thought you lived in canada".I said as she looked up.

"I would explain to you but I'm confused myself. When did you get a body guard? ".She said as I turned around to see kawayne.

" ummm uh well gonna this is Burt my friend ".Seriously laya Burt! Was that the best you could come up with." Isn't he a bit old to be in high school? "She asked." He was held back a few grades".I really hope this works or at least buys me some time. "Well then I'm gonna go now because he looks like he's about to devour me bye".She said turning around running down the hall.

" I'm gonna enjoy this".Kawayne said in low voice as kicked him in his crotch and ran back into the parking lot and got in my car just to see him standing behind my car so I quickly reversed and drove home hitting him on my way.

Running inside I'm pretty sure I knocked something over before Leo held me down. "Calm down what happened?".I heard Leo say before everything went black.

I felt this big headache after I opened my to just to hear my phone ring." Hello? ".I said." Laya where were you? I went around school all day looking for you. Is this because of your friend? ".Hi Anna said  shouting in my ear." Gianna I went home and I have a splitting headache and your not helping look I gotta go".I said hanging up the phone.

"Well look who's up".I heard Daniel say when fell back on the bed." Now what's this I hear about you having a panic attack after running in the house?".Daniel said. "My head hurts" .I complained I mean come on its a migraine I have a right to complain. "Don't change the subject. What happened?" .Daniel said when I looked outside to see a car pull up.It didn't look like one of our cars it's was new. "Over here I'm talking to you what happened?" .Daniel repeated. "Sorry. Long story short I was talking to friend when my dad showed up behind me so I made a run for it then I got him with my and here we are now".I said seeing Daniel get annoyed. "Don't joke about this you could have gotten ----" .Daniel got caught off when we heard a scream and we ran out to see what was going on. "Let me go you big asshole".I heard Gianna shout. "Gianna?" .How did she know where I lived. "You know her? Why is she here?" .Daniel asked

"I refuse to speak until he lets me go".Gianna said." Too late princess you already talked ".I have to admit Leo is an asshole. "Just let her go".I seriously need to get some answers and don t think that she's gonna wanna talk to Leo after he literally dropped her in the floor." Leo!!! ".I shouted as I helped her up." Ok I have a feeling I'm gonna hate the whole bodyguard thing".Gianna said.
"There not my bodyguards just overprotective friends but that's besides the point .How did you know where I lived?" .When did I become so interagative. "Long story short I followed your friend here but unlike him I took the front door".She answered." Wait you followed Kawayne here?".Shit shit shit. "You guys need to go to the back door and get you know who before he does you know what again".I said.
