Pain... That's all I ever feel at night, in what's supposed to be my home, from a man who decided to hurt instead of love what he created. He always hated me even when he wasn't downright drunk... hated that I wasn't strong enough, hated that I was a girl and hates, absolutely hated the mirror I was of the woman who used to love him.
"At least it's dark," I thought to myself painstakingly dragging myself further and further from the beams radiating from the Hell where once hope lived and plunging into the reassuring darkness of the forest.
As I walked torturing myself further with thoughts, around and around somehow making myself more hopeless than before. That's when I see it the thing that created my pain from so long ago now the only thing that can relieve it. My mother's last stand against the demons, her fight that ultimately failed, amongst the roses of the clearing comforting with their sweet aroma there it is. Intimidating and tranquail my mother's tree...
