Chapter 26- Not like him

*Y/n's P.O.V.*

I woke up slowly and I turn my head to see Aphmau sleeping peacefully. I grab my phone and I look to see for notifications. Just another YouTube notification... I then look at the time.

11:30am

Wait what!? I quickly get changed into my bathing suit and I started shaking Aphmau awake. Aphmau stirs in her sleep.

"W-What?" Aphmau mumbled as drool went down her chin and onto the bed.

"Wake up!" I almost shout. Aphmau' s eyes shot open.

"I'm awake!" Aphmau yells and she sits up. I giggle.

"Now go get changed and we'll head downstairs." I exclaim and I sit on my bed. Aph quickly changes and she motions with her hand for me to follow her. I get up and we run down the stairs.

Dante and Aaron were chatting and Aphmau tackles her boyfriend Aaron to the floor. Aaron laughs and Dante looks over at me. I walk over to him and giggle. Dante smiles.

"I think Aphmau has been wanting to see Aaron, badly." Dante chuckles. I grab Dante's hand and I take him to Aph and I's room.

"Who do you ship? Like, OTP?" I ask him, looking into his eyes.

"I-I um.... I-I ship Zane and Lilith." Dante admits. I nod.

"Well, I like the idea of Anabeth and Laurence!" I giggle. Dante nods.

"Sorry Y/n. I have to get going, see ya!" Dante exclaims and in 2 seconds he was gone. What? This isn't like him... I shrug my shoulders and I head downstairs. Zane runs up to me.

"Y/n! Why did Dante just run out of here like that?" Zane asks, concerned.

"I-I don't know..." I stutter, and Zane growls a little.

"Well, I'm going after him." Zane says coldly and runs off.

"No wait I- never mind..." I look at the floor and then I look back up. No one was in sight. I walk outside and I head towards the beach. I saw a figure in the distance.

"Kawaii Chan!" I shout and she turned around.

"Y/n~Sama!!!" Kawaii Chan squealed and rushed over to me. I hug her and then we part.

"So, what have you been up to?" I ask as we walk back towards the beach.

"Nothing really, Kawaii~Chan has been enjoying the vacation though!" Kawaii~Chan smiles. We sit in the sand with our feet in the water as we stare at the sea. Then all of a sudden Zane runs in front of us.

"Y/n, I caught Dante hanging out with another girl! And it looked like he was flirting with her!" Zane exclaims. I growl.

"WHAT!?!? DOES ZANE~KUN HAVE PROOF!?!?" Kawaii Chan yells and her and I stand up.

"Ya, I recorded it." Zane pulls out his phone and pulls up a video. Kawaii~Chan and I watched through the whole thing. Dante really was flirting with her.

"Where are they?" I ask coldly.

"The other side of the beach." Zane exclaims and Kawaii~Chan and I follow him. Once we got there, Dante and this girl were talking and laughing. Zane snaps and they look at us.

"Oh! Dante, are these your friends?" The girl giggles.

"Um, y-yeah! They're my friends!" Dante stutters.

"Hi! I'm Jenny! I'm Dante's new girlfriend!" Jenny exclaims.

"WHAT!" Zane yells. I froze. My heart stops.

"Y-You don't love me... do you?" Tears fill my eyes when I said that. Dante looks away.

"My heart was never beating when I was around you Y/n, but I still want to be your friend. I-" I cut Dante off.

"NO! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT DANTE! YOU DON'T LOVE ME DANTE! I UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH OF A BRAT I CAN BE! BUT I WAS HAPPY AROUND YOU! I LOVED YOU!" I yell as tears streamed down my face. Dante had tears going down his cheeks.

"I-I'm sorry..." Dante stutters. I look at him.

"I-I think we just need a break from each other..." I exclaim and Dante nods. I turn around and before I walked off with Kawaii~Chan, Dante whispers.

"Jenny and I aren't dating..." Dante whispered. I turn to look at him and Dante was looking at me. Dante mouthed 'I'm sorry and I ran off with Kawaii~Chan. I could hear Zane chewing out Dante.

Kawaii~Chan took me to a restaurant and we talked about random stuff. I enjoyed it, and we had a great time.

After that she took to the restaurant, we headed home. Dante wasn't there, of course. Zane came up to me.

"Y/n, Dante is in his room." Zane exclaims and goes back to the kitchen. I nod and Kawaii Chan goes to the living room with Lucy. I head upstairs and I walk to Aph and I's room. I change into my Pj's and I grab a piece of paper and a pen. Then I started writing.

Dear Dante,

I know that you might hate me right now, but I won't stop loving you. I will forever and always love you. Yes, I can be a brat and a pain in the butt, but you made me happy. Ever since I got to Phoenix Drop High in Freshman year, when I first saw you, I knew you were the one. I just couldn't get over you. Ya, the past is in the past.

Gene was a big butt in college. In high school, he knew I liked you. So he started blackmailing me. He took a photo of my first kiss with Zane, and he used it against me. When I got to college, he was already waiting for me. He would abuse me everyday after classes. He hated the fact that I liked his younger brother.

I only had a couple of friends in high school. Aphmau, Aaron, Zane, Katelyn, and Kawaii~Chan. They were there for me when I needed them the most. Like the day at the football field. Ivy and her gang were teasing me about liking Garroth and beating me, when I never had a crush on him. Aaron and Aphmau had to shoo them away.

Being the Alpha Werewolf in high school for four years in a row was tough. Balto would always challenge me. Ya, Maria wanted the spot as Alpha, but soon enough, we became friends in Junior Year. I just hated being teased so much.

My family was broken. Katie and Alex (Katie is your older sister by two years, sorry if that's your name! Alex is your younger brother by two years) were always out of the house, mother and father always fought with each other. I was just there stuck in the middle of it all.

I know this is the end of this letter, but all I wanted to say was that I love you.
