Chapter 31- Camping Pt.1

*Y/n's P.O.V.*

The rustling got louder. Zane stared at the bushes, waiting for something to come out. It was just a bunny.

"Thank Irene it was just a bunny. Dang! Those noises scare me..." Zane sighs in relief. I giggle.

"Look, when your a werewolf, and can hear almost everything, it's even scarier." I exclaim.

"True, True. Hey, come on! It's like 8:30 in the morning, let's go and see if Lilith, Annabeth, and Lucy want to go on the camping trip." Zane mentions, and I nod. I cross the street when no cars were coming, with Zane behind me, and I walk in the direction of Annabeth's house first.

I walk up to her door and I knock.

Knock knock knock

I heard footsteps coming closer to the door. Then the door opened to show a sleepy Annabeth.

"Yes?" Annabeth questioned tiredly. I giggle at her.

"There's a campsite that we were invited to and-" I was cut off.

"I'M GOING!" Annabeth screeched, making me giggle.

"You like camping, don't you?" Zane asks.

"I used to go camping all the time! It was so much fun!" Annabeth squealed.

"Well, we'll leave at 10:00, ok?" I ask. Annabeth nods quickly and Zane and I turn around and we begin to head in the direction of Lilith and Lucy's house. Once we got there, Lucy was already at the door.

"Y/n! Zane! I figured that you were coming over here. Is there something you need to tell us?" Lucy asked.

"There is this campsite that someone invited us too, and we were wondering if you wanted to come." Zane exclaimed.

"That sounds like fun! We'll go. Right, Lilith?" Lucy turns to Lilith.

"Y-ya, we'll go!" Lilith stuttered, and Zane shyly waves.

"Yay! Ok, so we will leave around 10:00, ok?" I ask, and Lucy and Lilith nod. Zane and I turn around and we walk back over to the guy's house.

"Y/n, shouldn't you go and pack your stuff?" Zane looks at me.

"Oh yeah! I'll meet you guys there! I'll go with the girls." I smile at Zane. Zane nods and he walks back to the guy's house. I walk in the direction of the girl's house. I walk inside to see three bags on the floor. One pink, one blue, and one purple.

"Y/n! You need to pack your bag!" Aphmau squeals. I nod and I walk up to my room. When I walked into my room, I remembered the memories of the figures. I shook my head to forget them and I grabbed my f/c bag from my desk.

*Later on*

I finished packing and I headed downstairs to the girls. I noticed Annabeth, Lucy, Lilith, and Lucinda also there with bags.

"Hey Y/n, you don't mind pranking the guy's... right?" Lucinda asks when she saw me. A smirk grows on my face as I nod.

"Now, let's get going, it's 10:30, so come on!" Katelyn says as she grabs her bag. I grab my bag and I follow the girls out to the car.

After awhile we reached Phoenix Forest. Katelyn parked her car next to the guy's. There was no one else around, which was perfect.

"Girls! Over here!" Aaron waved and we walked over to them. There were 7 tents out.

"I call Y/n!" Katelyn shouts. Dante groans.

"Oh come on! I wanted to room with her!" Dante groans and frowns playfully.

"Too late!" Katelyn smirks, making me giggle.

"Stop bellyaching and set up!" Zane crosses his arms. I set my bag next to a f/c tent.

"Should we do something fun? Like Barbeque? Or Scary Stories?" Lilith asks.

"For one, it's 3:00 in the afternoon, so Barbeque won't work, because it's too sunny. And Scary stories is meant for nighttime." Laurence exclaims. I nod.

"Well... what about hiking?" I mention.

"Yeah!" Aphmau squeals. I grab a small f/c stringed bag and I put snacks, water, and other things inside the bag. I put the bag on my back and I look over and see a path. Everyone else started walking on the path.

I run after them. All of the girls had string bags on their backs with supplies in them. I was walking with Zane towards the back. Then we came into a large fork in the road. Their were 7 paths.

"Should we split up?" Kawaii Chan asks. Everyone nods.

"Into groups of two?" Aaron looks at all of us.

"I call Y/-" Dante started.

"I call Y/n!" Laurence cuts him off. Dante sighs. I walk over to Dante. Dante looks at me and smiles.

"I'll be fine,  Dante." I say, kissing Dante's cheek. Dante nods.

"Then what are the groups?" Lucy asks.

"How about... Aphmau and Aaron, Dante and Travis, Lucy and I, Laurence and Y/n, Zane and Lilith, Lucinda and Katelyn, and Kawaii Chan and Garroth?" Annabeth exclaims. We all nod in agreement. I go over to Laurence and we begin to walk on one of the paths.

As we were walking, we talked about the past and laughed.

"Remember when you got hit in the face with a football? That was hilarious! The look on your face!" Laurence laughed. I punch him in the arm playfully.

"Shut up!" I say. Laurence chuckles and the he looks at my bag.

"Did you bring food? Or water?" Laurence asks. I nod and I grab my bag and I grab a bottle of water and a bag of chips.

"Here." I smile at him and I hand him the stuff. Laurence's eyes lit up and he ate. He finished the food in less than a minute.

"Hungry much?" I giggle. Laurence smiles.

"What time is it?" Laurence asks. I grab my phone from my bag.

"5:10." I say. Laurence nods as he looks forward.

"Is that a cliff?" Laurence points forward. There was a cliff at the end of the path. I began running towards it with Laurence behind me. Once we reached the cliff, I saw the others coming out from paths as well.

"Wow..." Zane says amused, looking at the view of the city from the cliff. I sit down about 10 feet away from the edge of the cliff and I smile.

This is beautiful...
