"Which brother?"

"Niklaus"

"Your delusional! I'm not going to help you in this! I'l take my chances with the witches, you're on your own"

"Now, now," he grasped her throat and held her up in the air "there seems to be some confusion. I'm not asking. Be glad that I don't tear your throat out"

"Kill me then, whether I help you or not, I'm dead"  Octavia grunted.

"Feisty."

Octavia gasped for breath and she gripped his wrist, trying to pry his steel grip from her neck. Black dots invaded her vision and she felt like her lungs were collapsing on themselves. Her lungs burned as his grip tightened. But she wasn't going to give up. She was a fighter.

I am not dying at the hands of a vampire.

Her legs dangled in the air before Kol threw her against the wall like a rag doll. She groaned as her back made hard contact with the wall. Octavia gasped as the vampire picked her up by her hair and brought her head back. He stroked her cheek as she tried to squirm away.

"Get off" She grunted.

"Darling, I do think that we could come to some sort of agreement, hmm?"

"Yeah" she glared at the brunette Original "let me go and I won't hurt you"

Kol's eyes darkened as something replaced that mischievous glint. Bloodlust. He dived for her neck as she let out an ear piercing scream. The room shook and Kol was thrown back just as his fangs pierced her soft flesh. Octavia put pressure on the wound, her hair was disheveled, and she had multiple bruises forming in her petite body.

"Leave me be" She ground out through her teeth.

Kol stood up and dusts himself off but before he could walk over to her he had fallen to his knees, clutching his head in his hands. Instead of taunting him, Octavia darted out of the building. The pain subsided and Kol got up, chuckling. It wasn't an amused chuckle, oh no, there was nothing funny about that. It was dark, cruel, and malicious. Full of murderous intent.

He always got what he wanted.

He played games.

And he wants to play a dangerous game with her.

So naturally...

He let her go.

He was the cat and she was the mouse, even if she didn't know it.

Oh darling, the fun is just beginning.
