Hermione was furious. Ron had crossed his limits. How dare he! He didn't bother to face her, or actually talk to her! And he teamed up with Parkinson, Hermione thought.

She then saw Harry and Ron playing wizards chess.

"RON! HOW DARE YOU!", Hermione screamed. The people in the common room turned to look at her.

"W-what happened?" Ron said, Snape couldn't have told her, could he?

"Hermione, please chill" said Harry, as always very calm.

"HOW CAN I CHILL?! HE WAS BREWING A LOVE POTION WITH THAT PANSY GIRL BEHIND MY BACK! HOW DARE YOU! HOW ABSOLUTELY DARE YOU!" she then stormed off to the girls dormitories.

"Oh no" said Ron, and Harry had the most calm look, as if there were no worries in the world left.

Hermione cried and cried her eyes out until the girls came in and comforted her. She told them the whole story.

"So, are you guys a thing?" Lavender asked, looking for a rumor to circulate around the whole of Hogwarts.

"Um...kind of" Hermione replied, thinking that she and Draco had never really discussed that matter.

"Don't worry Hermione, everything will be ok. Wake up tomorrow and say whatever you want to Ron. First of all, he deserves it. Second, it'll make you feel better" said Ginny, not believing what her brother had been involved in.

"Ok. Thanks a lot guys. You guys are amazing" Hermione said to all of the girls

It was the next morning and Hermione was ready to say whatever she could to Ron.

"You can do this", she said to herself in the mirror, and then swiftly left the bright, sunny room. All of the girls had left, so she was the only one left. Ginny had been sure to remind Hermione what she said the night before.

She could do this and was going to.

Hermione first went to Ron and cleared the fact that they weren't friends anymore. Then she went to Draco. She climbed the flights of stairs. He must be in the Great Hall, she thought to herself. She wanted to ask him about Parkinson, and see if they could talk about Ron and Pansy to each other.

She reached the Great Hall and entered. The 4 tables were laid with tons of breakfast that the house elves had made for the students. Hermione still didn't like how the house elves were living, even in the Hogwarts kitchens.

She went to the Slytherin table, where Draco was siting at the edge, looking very uncomfortable next to the Bloody Baron. Eyes followed Hermione as she made her way to Draco. She didn't care what anyone said. She wouldn't leave without talking to him.

"Hey Hermione", said Draco as she approached him.

"Hey" Hermione replied. "Can we talk somewhere else. Maybe outside? I don't feel very comfortable here, please?"

She then made a puppy face which Draco fell for. Some of the Slyherin's laughed, at Draco's bad boy melting out of him. Draco scowled at them, and then made his way out of the Great Hall to talk to Hermione.

He took her hand and led her out of the hall where everyone was eating like they hadn't seen food in years.

"So, I was going to say...what are we going to do about..us?"

"What do you mean?" Draco replies

"I mean that I have broken a few friendships, and given up so much for this relationship, and yet I don't know if your parents will approve of us"

"Well I'm sure we'll figure something out," Draco replies."For now, we have to get back to the Great Hall"

***

Draco had agreed to Hermione that he would take her to his parents' house. She was very nervous, trying to make sure her hair wasn't too frizzy, that her clothes were properly ironed, you get the idea.

Draco, meanwhile, felt very overwhelmed. His parents would not allow Hermione to be Draco's girlfriend, or even friend. He was sweating, while his friends tried to grab his attention with some stupid trick of theirs.

"Stop it, will you Goyle?" Draco shouted, while the whole table turned around to see the drama going on here.

"Okay, just chill Draco, since yesterday all you have talked about is that stupid mudblood, Hermione" he said with a roll of his eyes.

"Don't you dare call her that!" Draco said, and with that he walked out of the Great Hall. He had enough troubles on his mind right now than to make Goyle one of them.

He went to Hermione's dormitory and knocked on the door. This would be a tough day, but he would have to face it.
