The next morning, before breakfast, Bill gets pulled into his doctors office. A part of him is slightly annoyed because he just wants to see Richie. Richie has completely consumed Bill's thoughts and his entire being. He can't think straight without him. Richie is now Bill's entire world, his muse.

"Good morning, Bill." Doctor Bennett says as Bill enters his office.

"M-morning," Bill greets softly as he sits down.

"So, how have you been lately, Bill?"

"I-I'm fine. I've been hanging out w-with my friends a lot." he shrugs.

"How do you feel when you're alone?" Bill sits and thinks for a moment.

"I d-don't know,"

"That's not a proper answer, Bill. Now please tell me, how do you feel when you're alone?" his doctor's tone isn't harsh in any way. It's gentle.

"I don't know," Bill says again and pauses. "I h-haven't really thought about it."

"Can you please elaborate?"

"Well, I'm j-just always hanging out with my f-friends until we all have to head back to our rooms a-and I just fall asleep right away." he explains. His doctor nods his head as he processes everything Bill's saying.

"I think you should spend some time alone," he says.

"Why?" Bill pulls his eyebrows together. "I d-don't want to be alone."

"I need you to tap into your feelings, Bill. The reason you're here is to learn to control your anger, and not recognizing your own emotions won't help that process."

"That's l-literally the dumbest thing I've e-e-ever heard," Bill scoffs.

"I'm sorry you feel that way,"

"S-so what are you going to do?" Bill asks in a frustrated tone. "Isolate m-me?"

"Just for a few days. You'll be in your room. You can get a couple books from the library if you want to keep you a little occupied."

"Are you f-f-f-fucking serious?!" Bill shouts and slams his fists on the desk.

"I'm sorry, Bill. I can't help you if you don't know what you're feeling." the doctor pauses. "I think you're afraid, Bill."

"A-afraid?" Bill laughs. "Afraid of w-what?"

"You're afraid of yourself, you're afraid to feel."

"I'm n-not afraid of anything," Bill spits. "Y-you know what? F-fuck this! Fuck this shit!" Bill screams as anger takes over him. He slides his hands across the desk in one swift motion, knocking everything onto the floor.

"I see you're angry," his doctor says softly.

"O-o-obviously I'm f-fucking angry!" Bill shouts and stands up from his seat.

"Are you angry because you have to be isolated for a few days?"

"Yes!"

"And why does that make you feel angry?"

"B-b-because I won't be able to see R-" Bill cuts himself off. "M-my friends." he says in a softer tone and sits back down.

"Your friends will still be here once you get out." Bill rolls his eyes and crosses his arms.
