A couple weeks had passed by and Jayden had hardly seen Luke, he was always out with his friends, Calum was always at their house though.

Jayden strolled downstairs and smiled when she's seen Calum standing in the kitchen

"Hey Calum"

"Hey Jay."

"How're you on this fine day?"

He looked at her with an eyebrow raised and chuckled

"Considering it's snowing, I'm doing okay"

She giggled and nodded softly

"That's great."

"How are you?"

"I'm good, yeah."

"Good good."

She nodded and smiled as she left the kitchen, she sat on the sofa and turned on the tv, Calum sat next to her and smiled

"Put that on!"

Jayden giggled and looked at him

"Seriously? You want to watch the simpsons?"

He nodded quickly and smiled like a five year old child, she shrugged and nodded turning it on

A couple hours later

Luke walked into the house and looked around, Calum was meant to be meeting him here, he walked around and stopped when he'd seen Calum and Jayden, her head was on his lap, she looked so peaceful, he smiled and tapped Calum's shoulder

"Hey, dude, we gotta go."

Calum looked up at Luke and nodded, he gently shifted Jayden from his lap and left the house with Luke.

When Jayden woke up it was dark, she looked around and whimpered

"Cal? Luke?"

She stood up and backed up into a corner, she watched around the room and sobbed

"Is anyone home?"

She whispered and sniffled, she was so scared

The door slammed and she sobbed, shoving her head into her knees

"Please don't hurt me, please."

"Jayden? Hey are you okay?"

She looked up at Calum

"You left me."

"I'm so sorry, I had something to do, I wasn't expecting to be gone so long, come here."

She stood up and ran to him, she buried her face into his chest and sobbed

"Are you scared of the dark?"

She thought for a second and then nodded

"Oh god I'm sorry, I won't ever do it again."

She nodded and cuddled into him
