Nicole's POV

I woke up in the morning refreshed and ready. I got ready for school and woke up Janet. She woke up right away this time so I didn't have to do it the hard way. We went to school. Not much to say, I had a nice normal morning for once in my life.

I walked into the school with a positive attitude. I went to my classes and sat through each lecture bored but happy. I was okay till lunch.

I went to gym and got ready. Happy that we were going to the weight room. I ran to the weight room and jumped onto the treadmill. I ran for 5 minutes then went to weight lift. I couldn't lift too much because I can't let them know I fight. I lifted 10 pounds easily and did about 100 lifts or whatever they call it when you lift it up over your head and down. ' I'm going to have to find a new gym to practice at. I wonder if there are any around here?' I thought while using the weights.

Lunchtime. I sat down and eat the sandwich that I brought from home. I hate the lunch here and the lunch line. Nothing could have brought me down, I was wrong.

In came Max who was sporting a nice bruise courtesy of me. I smiled at the thought of the fight. He was so easy, he fought like I did at 10 years old. My dad and mom were part of AAGS so they started training me at the age of 5. I trained every day and started homeschool. They drilled me hard and whenever I gotta move wrong my dad hurt me. But every move I got right I got a hug or present. They made me strong and smart. I owe everything I am to them even though they treated me like a machine they loved me and I miss them every day.

I saw Max staring at me from across the room. ' If that's how you want to play.' I thought while staring back at him. It lasted till the bell and I won.

I went to pick up Janet afterschool. Janet was running at me when I parked. I spun her around and then placed her on the bike.

" How was school pumpkin?"

" It was amazing and I love my new friends. Can we stay here, please?"

" I'm sorry, pumpkin but we can't but maybe until the end of the year."

" Okay. But this is the place I want to live when we get a house."

" Fine but that may be a few years."

" I'll wait. Can we go home I'm starving?"

" Here we go."

I got on the bike and drove toward where we now call home, the inn. They had a sort of diner on the bottom floor so we ate there. We had grilled cheese and that was one delicious sandwich. I had to go fight in an hour so me and Janet watched a movie. Janet fell asleep so I left her and went to change. When I was ready I left Janet a note and left.

Today the bar was crowded again. I signed myself in at the bar.

" Hello, Tiger. Back again to fight." said the barman.

" Yes. I hope that this one will be harder than Wolf. I want some challenge."

" No one will be very hard for you. I know your name but you don't know mine. Hi, my name is Roary." said the barman, Roary.

" Nice to meet you, Roary. Do you know where there are any good gyms?"

" Yes. There's one on Meadowbrook St. It's a good gym that allows anyone so you should fit right in."

" Thanks. I'll check it out. I got to go fight. See you in a little bit."

" See you."

I ran over to the ring and got in. I saw my opponent, he was twice my size but clumsy.

" Our champion TIGER verses the ANTEATER."

I let him take first move. He took a step toward me trying to intimidate me but I've fought bigger guys than him. He took a swing at my chest, I skipped backward. This made him mad and he took another swing but I skipped backward again. He tried to kick my side but I grabbed his ankle and pulled him off balance so that when I let go he would go down like a stone. Of course, I didn't want to pounce too early so I jumped over him while he was on the ground. I kicked him in the side hearing a satisfying crunch as I broke a few of his ribs. He winced and curled up in a fetal position. I kicked him again not as hard in the back. I was bored so I ended it fast with a swift punch to his head. He was unconscious. It seems that I can't end a fight unless they are out.

I walk back to Roary who was talking to Wolf. Wolf was looking at me.

" Nice fight. But next time can you draw it out a little longer?" said Roary holding out my winnings.

" Sure but why should I?" I take the money out of his hand.

" It would make people more excited when you do knock him out."

" But I was getting bored with him. I kicked him once and he broke."

" Okay. Well, try to be more gentle next time man."

" Okay. I will. So Wolf how is your stomach?" I ask Wolf bored.

" Fine. I want a rematch Wednesday with you." Wolf said fuming.

" Okay. Do you want more bruises or a broken nose?" I asked smugly.

" I'm not going to let you touch me." He said in a deep and threatening tone.

" Is that supposed to scare me?" I said like I was confused.

" Yes. But obviously, it didn't work." He mumbled.

" Oh no. My life is over." I said jokingly.

" It will be."

" Oh, really and who is going to end my life?"

" Me."

I laughed and sat down at the bar next to him.

" You think that you're going to kill me."

" Yes. Why wouldn't I be able to?"

" Well. Come to the gym on Meadowbrook St. at 4:00 and I'll show you why." I said with a smile.

" Okay. See you there Tiger."

I went home to find Janet in bed and went to sleep.
