Forbidden Love

Chapter 5

Parker's POV

It's been three days since she left me alone in the prison. I got out soon as I didn't see her at the prison Sunday. Now, I'm a fugitive on the run. I'm at my friend's house, he has a safe room in his house for his friends.

" Hey Parker." said my friend Roary.

He lives in Quartz, Washington. I took a jet here overnight. His jet to be exact, his job owning a popular fighting bar, pays well.

I know the police won't look for me here especially if I'm in disguise. To live in his house is fine by him as long as I fight at his bar. I have two things that I love in this world, my computer and fighting. I left both behind when I had to flee the city. Now, I have both of them back. I was excited and so was Roary for some reason. I think it's about me fighting this new guy that has been unbeatable.

" You ready for the fight tonight?"

" Yep." I said confidently.

He laughed. " We will have to see." Shaking his head.

" Why are you laughing at me?" I ask getting angry.

He stopped laughing. " You just seem so sure but he has beat even Max. I wouldn't be surprised if he beats you. But he is going against Max first so you can see him in action."

" When is the fight?"

" In about two hours. Go get ready then we can go get something to eat on the way."

I hurry upstairs to the spare room, I'm staying in. I change into my silver hoodie and black shorts. I grab my bag and run downstairs, pumped for the fight. Roary is by the door and runs out as soon as he sees me. I follow him to his truck. It's a blue Ford truck not too new but it's in good shape.

We grab some Mcdonalds on the way to the bar. When we get there people are starting to come in and drink. I sit down at the bar and get a water. I eat my food while looking for Tiger and Wolf.

An hour later, Wolf comes through the door of the bar. I see him and wave him over. He walks over smiling.

" Hey man. It's been a long time since I've seen you here. How are you?" said Max.

" I've been good. How about you? I heard that you got your butt kicked." I said joking around with him.

" Good. I did but he was good and I wasn't expecting it. So, I'm fighting him for a rematch tonight. This time I'm going to win." He said smugly.

" Okay. Don't hurt him too bad. I want to fight him next."

" Fine but you may have to wait a while till he wakes up."

" Okay. I'll wait all night if I have to."

The bar door opens and Tiger comes through the door or at least I think that it's Tiger from the hoodie he's wearing.

" Hey, Wolf. Is that Tiger?" I ask pointing to the person that is coming through the door.

" Yep. That's him."

I look him over. He is smaller than I thought he would be. He wore a tiger hoodie with black shorts and black sneakers. The hood is up and he is wearing a tiger mask that covered his whole face. He walks over to Wolf.

" Hey, Wolf. How are you?" Tiger asked with a little humor in his voice.

" Fine." Wolf says while moving his hand to his arm.

" Who is your friend here?" he asks gesturing to me.

" This is my friend Arduino." said Max stiffly.

" Nice to meet you Arduino. My name is Tiger."

" Nice to meet you too."

I look at Max, who looks fearful and rubs his arm.

" Hey, Wolf. When are you fighting?"

" In a few minutes. We are the first fight of the night." He said excitedly.

Before he could walk away, I grabbed the arm he was rubbing. He flinched. I pulled him back and rolled his sleeve up. I saw a cut on his arm in the shape of a "T". I see out of the corner of my eye Tiger looking at the cut.

" How did you get this?"

" Umm. I was cutting some vegetables and cut myself." He said while shooting Tiger a glance while saying it.

" Okay. You should be more careful. Good luck with your fight."

Wolf and Tiger walk away towards the ring.

" Up first is a rematch of Tiger vs Wolf." shouts the announcer.

Tiger and Wolf shook hands with each other. Tiger's eyes turn black or close to black at something Wolf said. Ring

They circle around each other to take the first swing. Finally, Wolf broke and went after Tiger with a right hook but Tiger dodges the hit. Wolf comes in for another hit but Tiger danced back out of the way. It seemed like Tiger was playing with Wolf. He mostly did defense only a few hits that made Wolf wince at the pain. Tiger seemed bored and quickly went on the attack with quick punches to Wolf everywhere not giving Wolf any time to block them. Finally, Tiger did a strong punch to Wolf's temple. Causing him to fall down unconscious before he hit the ground.

" Winner Tiger." the announcer yells and the crowd cheers.

' Wolf didn't get any hits on Tiger. This was one tough guy to beat.' I thought to myself.

" Up next we have again Tiger and a returning champion Arduino." the announcer yells above the roar of the crowd.

I step into the ring where Tiger is standing waiting. We shook hands and Tiger went into a fighting stance. We both study each other. Tiger was short and looked about my age. He was in a strong stance close to the ground. I took the first swing. Tiger jumped back and I saw a dangerous glint in his eyes.Tiger struck my stomach with a powerful punch. It hurt, I doubled over in pain.

" Why are you hunched over I barely punched you?" Tiger said.

" That hurt! Why don't I punch you in the stomach and you can feel it!" I shouted in anger.

" Okay. Come on, try and hit me." he said with a smirk.

" Fine. I will." I stood up and tried to punch him, keyword tried.

I punched the air with him laughing at me. I got angrier. I saw him give me another smirk. I threw a punch at his stomach and it hit. I was surprised that he let me hit him. I felt my hand crack on his rock hard stomach. He didn't even move.

" You call that a punch. By the way, it didn't hurt at all. I'll show you a punch." he said.

Before I could move he stepped forward and punched my stomach. It hurt like h...!

" Goodnight Parker." He said while laughing and that's the last thing I heard before I blacked out. ' How does he know my name?' I thought.
