The Game Room was pretty empty. A couple of the pool balls were scattered around the floor. The Pool table itself was broken, it's table legs crumbled. On the other hand, the hockey table and the foosball table were still in good condition. Jack turned on the projector that was attached to the ceiling which luckily didn't fall and break. The projector turned on with the sound of a fan spinning inside, cooling the system. The white wall was now a giant screen showing a paid program. Jack grabbed the remote and switched the channel to the news station. Clover was amazed to know we even had a Game Room at a foster home. The last foster home she was in only had board games and used sports equipment to play outside with. Knowing how much everyone hates this place. We do have it better than others kids around the states.

The news channel started off with a plain white screen and text in the middle that read: "WE WILL BE BACK MOMENTARILY." For a few minutes than the intro of the news channel started to show transitioning to a newsroom with a lady sitting on the left and a grey-haired man sitting on the right beside her both looking as they were in their forties early fifties. They sat at a curved table with "Breaking News" written on the front of it. The three of us sat down on the couch noticing a few of the kids inside the Game Room drew their attention to the screen.

The lady had blonde straight short hair with a black necklace on her face with a rose dress on and the old man had a navy blue suit on with his grey hair combed over to the side.

The lady grabbed a stack of papers on the table and started to read off them. "Good afternoon. My name is Loren Frohock. As you may know, we had a rare record-breaking 7.0 earthquake hit our town a couple of hours ago. Ferncope's last recorded earthquake was in the nineties with a 4.0 making this one the deadliest one we had ever had in history."

"My name is Noah Melville and to all our viewers we hope that you are safe in this troubled situation and with your loved ones at this time. We were giving information that Ferncope was not the only place struck by an earthquake but also the entire eastern United States has felt the earthquake in some way. This is a groundbreaking event since this is the first time the whole United States has felt an earthquake at the same time. No information was given from authorities only that no aftershocks or further natural disasters will occur in Ferncope."

"Now here we have Amanda Yung with the weather report for the week." addressed Loren Frohock as the camera switched over to a young Asian girl in her early twenties with long dark brown hair wearing a white buttoned down shirt and black slacks. Standing in front of a green screen showing the weather for the upcoming week. "Thank you, Loren. Hello everyone as you can see behind me" Amanda said pointing at the green screen. "We have a change in weather patterns occurring in the past several weeks and it's still going as for the next week we have a chance of rain and thunderstorms occurring through the weekdays with a 90 degree Fahrenheit and during the weekend it will shift into more breezy weather at 70 degrees Fahrenheit with some clouds still in the air." explained Amanda Yung "No signs of strange lights or noise happening here again." she said sarcastically as she ended off by wishing everyone watching a good night. The camera switched back to Loren and Noah switching the strange occurrences with a special important date to save for everyone watching. ''As we end of today's quick news. We would like to end it off with on a light note. One of our local foster homes "The Winchester" are there having annual discount adoption this upcoming Friday. The lovely kids at the Winchester would love for you to stop on by as see if you have a wonderful home for them for a low price. Our firefighters and local authorities have checked and inspected "The Winchester" for its safety for the children and that's always a good thing to hear especially during today's disaster.  The address is 2387 Lincoln Avenue. Thank you, everyone, and have a safe and good night." The news outro entered and transitioned into commercials.
