Prologue

Calum's POV

People alway say, that when you see the right person, you'll know it's them. At first I was like, 'that's bullshit' but then, I actually saw the person in front of me and I instantly fell in love. I had known him for a while before, but it was just the right place at the right time.

He looked so good, and all the kindness he had done suddenly came to mind. I wanted him so bad, but knowing that we were best mates, I knew it would never work out.

First of all, he wasn't gay and second, he had a girlfriend, and third, we had been friends for so long now, it was just never meant to be, it would only jeopardize our friendship.

No one knew about my stupid attraction towards my best friend until...

My other friend, Ashton had noticed the way I looked at him in classes, or when we played video games, or just generally when we hung out. Michael, our other friend was oblivious, he never knew when anything was going on but still, we stuck around like a real family. We weren't just four best mates, we were like brothers, which is the fourth reason I couldn't be with Luke, but now that Ash knew, what would happen now.
