It's been 23 hours and 32 minutes since I had last talked to Yoongi. Or, anyone for that matter. Walking home was possibly the worst thing, even though Jin had offered to drive me home. The entire time I was walking, I kept thinking about what he said to me. "I'm glad you're okay. I was afraid you were a little too intoxicated." I got chills thinking about his dark, icy stare. He was worried? Surely not, he was just being nice, right?
When I got home, I got a call from Yoongi asking if I was okay, if I made it home safely. I told him I was fine, and that I'd call him later. And It's been 23 hours and now 33 minutes since we've talked. I took a walk down the street and walked down Main to look at all the Valentine's Day propaganda and such.
Cute roses and little red hearts decorated every stall stalked with bath salts or chocolates and teddy bears. I saw a bunch of men, who appeared to be shopping for gifts for their significant others. It was cute, watching them sniff candles and wrinkling their noses or looking at the price tags on teddy bears and shuddering.
I saw groups of teenage girls all sighing and pointing at the cute Holiday cards. I saw couples sitting inside the coffee shops and restaurants. It was February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day. I stopped at a record shop, filled with all kinds of old music and vinyls. I looked through the CDs and records when something caught my eye. Right next to each other, I saw a Stony Skunk album and a single by Epic High titled "Fly"
I know this sounds crazy because he has a girlfriend, but I decided to buy them for Yoongi. He said that these artists changed his life and that he wouldn't be here today without them. I bought them and had them wrapped in silver and black striped paper. Then, i went home and began writing.
I know, crazy, right? I had begun to wright a song for Yoongi. I wrote down the lyrics, and figured out a basic melody on the piano. It took hours to finish the song, I wanted everything to be a subtle metaphor for my feelings for him. I compared him to music. I compared him to piano and sweet lyrics. I went to my studio and began to record the song.
It took hours, since I was alone. I'd say I started writing the song at 2 pm, finished at 9. I started recording at maybe 9:30 and I finally finished at 3:45 am. Finally I came home with three CDs, all wrapped and ready to give to Yoongi.
The next morning, I got a call from Jungkook. "How do you have my number?" I asked him
"I have my magical ways." he laughed. "So, it's Valentine's Day, you wanna hang with me, Yoongi and Sam?"
I just wanted Yoongi, but I'll take what I can get. "I'm in if you are!" I said flirtatiously. I did really like Jungkook, he was a great guy to be around. I get happy every time his name or his voice or face pops into my head. But I just didn't think I loved him.
"Great!" I could tell he was smiling by the way his voice sounded. "I'll pick you up at 8, okay noona?"
"Sure, sounds perfect!"
"Okay see you then! Oh and dress sexy. I want to make everyone jealous!" He said.
I laughed before hanging up. I looked at the clock. It was 2 pm. I had 6 hours to look my best. I called up my friend Jordan, told him to get his booty over here to give me a makeover and within 30 minutes I was getting beautiful.
