I remember I use to wish alot

Even for the smallest thing

I use to throw a dime or two

In a fountain and see it sink

I use to look at the star's all night

Just to see one shooting by

And when It did I would wish

For my Prince just to have him by myside

But now I know wishes don't come true

No matter how many dimes you throw

Or how many shooting stars you see

If you want something go look for it

Or just let it be

I had to learn the hard way

You probably did to

But we have to face the fact that wishes never come true
