I drove all the way to Betty's Cafe with no intention of drinking coffee. I just needed someplace warm to be since outside wasn't it. I sat there. I don't even know for how long but I sat and I watched as the rain would go from drizzling to downpour from one minute to another. I noticed the place was quite empty but it didnt bother me. The only noise was coming from the cook in the kitchen.
"Miss you have to buy something or you can't stay here."
I looked up and it was Wendy the waitress. With her once uptight pony tail this morning to a now low pony tail, her eyes showed how tired she was, the bags seem to pile up with every second. She was just looking at me. Half dead, half alive. I figured I shouldn't mess with her and just buy something.
"I'll take a piece of cheese cake" I said kind of unsure of what I wanted.
"Is that all?" She asked so melancholy.
"Some milk to?"
"You're lucky. Theres only one piece of cheese cake left." And then she walked away.
She brought me the cheese cake and milk and I admit it made me feel a little bit better giving the fact I had a huge blow out with my dad. See I could have brought up the whole 'She's Not So Perfect She Gave A Jerk Head' but no I left it because I didn't want her to get introuble. Sometimes I think he wishes I wasn't there so things could go so smoovely. I take another bite of my cake and I see a girl walking towards me. She was Asian and about my age, her hair was long and Black, with a long streak of Red, she was wearing a black mini-skirt with red torn leggings under, a Black shirt about two sizes her size, pair of Converse and a cute little piercing on her nose. She got to my table and stared at me for a bit. Her look wasn't threatning as I expected. It was soft, and caring.
"Can I sit here?" she asked with a smile.
I was so confused it took me a while to answer until she cleared her throat. "Yeah.. You could sit here. I don't mind."
"Thanks. So what's the deal? If you don't mind me asking."
"I don't mind. But what deal?"
"You. Here. By yourself. At," looks at her cell. "It's 1 in the morning." she giggled.
"Oh shit?! Really? How long have I been sitting here?" I looked down trying to think.
"Three hours and five minutes in counting." she laughed.
"God! Wait.. How do you know that?"
"Well you see I'm a stalker and I wanted to wait a little more so once you realize that I managed to put something in your drink I would take you away and leave you in my dungeon to die." She stared at me and I started to believe it looking freaked out but I wanted to laugh.
"No I'm joking," she giggled. "But no I had an arguement with my mom about something so I left and you walked in a few minutes after I did. By the way you are soaked. So are you gonna tell me what's the deal Ms. Three hours and five minutes?" she smiled.
"I got into a arguement with my dad, so I left and just sat here." I did a hand movement to show the chair and sat back.
"Sucks. What were you guys arguing about?"
"My dumbass, slutty step-sister. Girl gets me introuble at every chance she gets. She acts like a ten year old and it's so annoying." I sighed.
"Oh I been there."
I looked up at her. "Really?
"Yeah I was the dumbass, slutty ten year old." She laughed.
"Seriously? Cause I didn't mean nothing by it you know. You seem like a fine person not at all a slut or a dumbass or a ten year old." I started rambling.
