New friend..?

Hi, my name is (y/n) and I'm (y/age) years old. I can say that I love my life but not because it's perfect, it's just that I'm truly grateful for what I have now. As an only child, I was always left alone. Duh, lol my parents are always away going on business trips..

Well, today is Saturday, and I have just completed all of my assignments. Actually, I have nothing better to do. So, I decided to go out for a walk at the park and the weather is perfect, so why not?

I got out of the house and walked for about 4 blocks until I reached the park. When I got there, I sat down by the lake while admiring the beautiful scenery. To be honest, I didn't realise that time flew by. My pondering and thoughts were soon 'interrupted' by a voice. Obviously, it's a guy's voice. I lifted my head up to look at the guy. 'Holy... is this even real? He's the most gorgeous man I've ever laid my eyes on", I said to myself. His appearance definitely matches all the characteristics that I look for in my dream guy. His big brown eyes, that dashing smile and those curls.

"Hi, im Joel, Joel Pimentel. What's your name?", he asked. "My name is (y/n), (y/n) (y/l/n)", I said back shyly. "Wow, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl.. so (y/n), do you come here often?", he said while trying to make eye contact. "Uh, yeah.. and how long have u been here, Joel?", I replied back trying to carry out the conversation. He looked at his watch and said "Eh, a good 15 minutes. Do you live nearby?". "Yeah, about 4 blocks from here. Wait, aren't you one of the finalist of La Banda?", I asked, wanting to get the confirmation.
"Well, yeah, I am, and you probably know that I'm  cnco as well huh?"
"Of course, duhh.. it's not like I'm living under a rock"

We continued talking to each other until the sun set. For some reason, I really did enjoy talking to him. He makes me feel comfortable and 'free'. "Well, it looks like it's getting dark. Come, I'll send you home", he offered to send me home (oh how sweet😂). "Oh it's okay, I can walk", I rejected his offer because I didn't wanna trouble him. "No no, it's fine.. and besides, it's not safe for a girl to walk alone in the dark", he said while helping me to get up.

We walked to his car and I did not expect him to open the doors for me. I just wanna thank his parents for raising him to be such a gentleman. I told him where my house is and he started driving.  After a while, he parked his car in the front and said "Hm? Looks like nobody's home". "Uh yeah..my parents are away on a business trip", I said while getting out of the car. "Okay, so I can consider you as a friend now.. may I have your number?", he said as he hands over his phone. "Yeah, sure", I dialled my number in his phone and handed it back to him. "Alright, thank you (y/n). Take care". I waved him goodbye and he drove off.

"This is gonna be fun", I said to myself.
