Chapter Five

Hatred.

LUNA'S POV

Being with George brought out my happiness, I was eating properly and I finally felt happy ever since Dad died.

George was amazing he was always there, He loved tickling me and giving me little kisses but nothing made him more happier then playing with my hair it was just so adorable, I am so glad to have met George.

We were currently in potions with Professor Slughorn, it was Gryffindor and Ravenclaw today so I was happy

“Please pick a partner from the other house and work together on brewing any desired potions from the pages 85-100”

I smiled at George and he smiled back but then Neville walked over to me 

“You’re my partner right?” he asked

I totally forgot me and Neville are always partners, well were.

“Um well I was hoping me and George were going to be” 

“You cannot be serious why him Luna?” 

“I love him Neville, you’re meant to be my best friend and be happy for me?”

“Are you serious Luna?Him of all people okay Fine then good bye” Neville’s voice grew and he stormed out of the classroom.

“Are you alright babe?” George asked rushing over to Luna

“He’s my best friend… and I lost him” Luna started to cry

“Hey baby, well then he doesn’t deserve some one as amazing as you”

George leaned into kiss Luna but was interrupted by Professor Slughorn

“Excuse me, we have a lesson on at the moment maybe after you could continue”

George’s face went as red as his hair

“Sorry” they mumbled.

GEORGE'S POV

Luna was quiet today when we sat outside next to a tree in our normal position she didn’t hum like normally she was quiet

“Baby?”

“Mm” she mumbles

“What’s the matter” I ask, untangling my hand from her hair and pulling he around to me

I saw a tear fall down, I felt horrible

“Darling, don’t cry please he is not worth it Luna come here”

I held her close and before I could speak Luna crashed her lips on me

Our lips went together perfectly in sync, we were meant to be,

Luna bites on Georges lip seductively and George’s mouth opens, Luna slides her tongue in and their tongues fought for dominance

RON-

I hated seeing George with Luna it was just wrong,

He cannot leave,

I wanted to get her away from him so i sent her an owl, hopefully this breaks them up

LUNA-

I decided to go to the common room before dinner and found letter on my bed,

I opened the letter

Dearest Luna

My name is Rona I am George’s girlfriend, I heard that you two are together, um he’s only using you, He likes me not you so do us a favour and leave

Tears fall out my eyes and I scream, 

I rock my self -THIS CANNOT BE REAL-

“NOOOO!” i scream throwing my stuff at my mirror, it cracks and I grab a piece

I plunge it into my stomach crying in pain

 

CHO-

 

I heard a scream coming from the common room, i run in and see Luna on the floor, I see the glass and note, i place the note in my robe and pick weak Luna up,

I run to the great hall

“HELLLP!"

 

George-

 

Cho runs into the great hall with someone in her arms

“HELP SOMEONE PLEASE LUNA!!” she screams and the teachers run over 

I stand up running to her

“LUNA NOOO” i start to cry

“We need to get her to the infirmary” Professor McGonagall says

I follow them,

“WHAT HAPPENED?” i asked Cho crying

“Well… I heard screaming so I ran into the common room and I saw Luna, broken glass and this note,

I grab it from Cho and read it

“WHAT THE HELL!” I scream angry, i run to the great hall

“RON YOU FUCKING PRICK, WHY? SHE COULD BE DEAD BUT OH YOU DON’T CARE YOU SELFISH ARSE, STUPEFY” I point my wand at Ron and he goes flying

“WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?” Ron spits

 

I run over to Ron and press the letter in his face

“RONA you prick, SHE IS IN THE BLOODY INFIRMARY , DUDE WHY CANT I BE HAPPY?”

Ginny,Hermione and Harry run over

“What happened?” Ginny asked

I hand the note to Ginny and once she finishes reading it, she slaps Ron

 

GINNY-

“ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS RON, WHY?” i start to cry and Hermione hugs me

I just cannot believe it, Why would Ron do something like that.

Hermione George and I leave the great hall and make our way to the Infirmary

 

GEORGE-

“IS SHE OKAY?” i ask running over to luna’s weak body

Ginny gives Professor the note and she takes them to her office leaving me,Luna and Madam Pomfrey alone

“She will be okay, I have cleaned the wound and tried to stop the bleeding,Professor has gone to get Fawkes to heal her, then she shall be fine” she gives me a pat on the back and exits.

Tears fall down my face I hold her weak hand,

“Luna baby, I love you i am so sorry i need to protect you you’ll be okay baby wake up”

I kiss her on the forehead and sit down next to her
