I Shouldve Told You

—Cyrus's POV—

"Oh I'm so happy he said yes." I went up and hugged Jonah. He had just told me about asking Marty to be his best man.

"Me too." He said. He seemed a little off or a little distant.

"Baby are you okay?" I asked. I went over and sat beside him on our bed.

"Yeah. Well no but yeah." He said quietly. He wouldn't look up at me.

I grabbed his hand.

"Baby?"

"This is going to sound weird but I need Marty to come over now." He said. What did Marty have to do with this?

"I'll call him really quick." I said.

I got out my phone and pressed on Marty's name.

Hello?

Hey it's Cyrus.

Hey, what's up?

Somethings wrong with Jonah. But he said he needed you over here.

Ok. I'll be over right away. Is he saying or doing anything?

No. He's just sitting on the bed staring at the floor.

Okay. I'm getting in the car now.

I looked over at Jonah.

"He's on his way. Baby? Are you okay?" I asked.

"No Cyrus I'm not. I just don't feel comfortable talking about it without Marty." He said. "I'm sorry."

He started crying softly. I hugged him tightly.

"Hey, Baby, it's okay. I understand. Marty will be here in just a minute."

I heard Marty running up the stairs. He opened my door and came into my room. He looked over at Jonah crying and ran over to him.

"Hey, it's okay." Marty put his hand on Jonah's back. "What happened?"

"I d-don't know." Jonah said quietly. "It just started all of a s-sudden and I c-couldn't stop it."

"Don't worry it'll be okay." Marty said. Marty moved his arm and it brushed against Jonah's arm.

Jonah let out a yelp. Marty looked at him with fear.

"Jonah." He said. "Let me see your arm."

Jonah shook his head no but Marty grabbed his hand and rolled up his sleeve. Jonah winced when his shirt touched his arm.

He had small cuts up his harm. Cuts that I knew to well.

"Jonah. Why didn't you tell me it had gotten this bad?" Marty said.

"I'm s-sorry." Jonah started crying softly. Marty hugged him tightly. "We should t-tell Cyrus."

Marty looked towards me.
