Chapter 4 - The Bet

It was already morning the birds are chirping and the sun shone inside the room.

The light disturbed Karl and motivated him to get up and get ready.

Sun and his team were still sleeping so he tried to be as quiet as possible.

He went the bathroom to take a bath when suddenly a headache struck him.

It was a blurry one,a person wearing white clothes talked to him.

???: Are you okay Karl? ..... can you hear me?

Karl: Who is this...

The white figure then disappeared as Karl nearly fell on the ground kneeling and leaning on the wall.

His body glowed and flickered, he healed the pain and stood up as if nothing happened.

Karl: Who was that person....

Karl questioned, his hands were shaking but he paid no mind to it and proceeded in the shower.

He turned on the shower and he let the water flow through him.

Karl: ( Who is that guy? Why am I remembering this now?)

He kept questioning himself until he finished cleaning himself.

While brushing his teeth he wrapped his lower body with a bath towel and opened the door.

He saw Sun sitting on the bed thinking of something and saw him.

Sun: Oh well your early.

Karl: Well, the light woke me up so ah yeah.

There was a solid 5 minutes of awkward silence and then they minded they're on business.

Sun: Oh yeah we better get movin, we still have to convince Ozpin on getting you enrolled here.

Karl dressed up and went with Sun to go see professor Ozpin.

The two ran outside their dorm to the halls until they saw Professor Ozpin walked across the pathways of the courtyard to the ceremony.

Sun: Professor Ozpin wait!

Professor Ozpin then looked at the two as they were panting of their running.

Ozpin: What is the matter Mr. Wukong?

Sun grabbed Karl's hand and puts him infront of the two of them.

Sun: *pants* We need to talk.

Ozpin: I'm sorry but you can come talk to me once classes are over.

Sun: Wait let me explain first!

Ozpin and Glynda decide to listen to Sun.

Sun: Its about him.

Sun pointed Karl to Ozpin and Karl nervously said hi to both of them.

Ozpin: And what is about this person?

Sun: Well you see sir I would like you to make him a student of Beacon here.

Ozpin: You already know that we do not accept any more students in Beacon this time.

Karl knew it was happening, he can't be here always and he was just involved with this mess.

Sun: But sir please you got to accept him! He's a really exceptional hunter and I've seen his skill first hand.

Sun: Please sir he has no where to go...

Ozpin: What do you mean by nowhere to go?

Karl then stepped up and spoke to them.
