°PROLOGUE°

《Teki's POV》

"I can't do this!I can't I ca- ".

" Darling don't say that your strong I know! You can do this, try harder!"

She screamed louder and louder, Trying hard to free herself.
Her pupils diluting giving out a dark aura, blood streaming down her face.

'I will save you, just fight harder'. I whispered in her head taking in a long breath.
"I have gone way too far it's dangerous for me as well as her, it's a tough case." I panted

He gave me a concerned look and nodded, Because we both knew our job very well and this is out first time going till this extent.
'I have to save her,I have to save her' . I kept repeating it to myself.
She's there sitting in front of me tied tightly with a rope. My eyes wander back to my husband,his eyes speak to me but I deny understanding it.

"I am not giving up on her" I shut my eyes, ending the conversation. I know my body is giving up but my heart is not.
I used my force with full extent to fight against the devil controlling her, he got stronger and stronger. Making my power feel small, it's a new one I am encountering with.
It's different.
It did something I never imagined.

I shrieked opening my eyes panting
Causing the force to stop.
"What's wrong?! " my partner stopped chanting.
I looked in his eyes tears streaming down my face. The lump in my throat stopped me from speaking, I couldn't believe what I saw in my head.

My heads where filled with voices, each one of them sounding familiar. I became perplexed by her sudden scream, filling my ear with the unpleasant noise.Her body shook vigorously, but the rope around her was tight enough.
'Hold on your strong'. whispering in her head again.
'He' chuckled in an unnecessary way.

"LEAVE HER ALONE YOU DEMON GIVE HER SOUL BACK" I screamed at him, knowing that I can't keep controlling him.

"Once what is given IS GIVEN! , you can't take it back". he said in a calm pace

" SHE DESERVES TO LIVE YOU HEARTLESS BEAST, LEAVE HER NOW OR ELSE I WONT".
My voice became hoarse.

"So now you are threatening me ? You have tempted me so much, tsk tsk tsk
She's mine darling I don't like giving what is mine".
he chuckled again.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I CAN DO
DONT YOU?".i yelled at space not knowing where the voice is coming from.

"Blah blah blah, I know and I am not scared now, she decided to come to me just to be filthy rich and I did. And why are you coming between us ? She is happy with what she has"
The voice of the owner suddenly shifted near Duran

" isn't it Duran?" He whispers loud enough for us to hear.
My eyes shifted towards her,she was really weak and looked pale, her dark forest hair covered her face and I got a glimpse
'Help me' .
That's it.

"I ORDER YOU TO LEAVE HER BODY NOW"

"FAITH IN HEARTS ,CONTROL IN MINDS, TRUST IN HANDS, VENGEANCE IN EY-". We chanted together

"AAARGH! ENOUGH! WHY CAN'T YOU FUCKING GIVE UP... WELL NOW
YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE".
his voice was deep .

'What did he mean?'.i looked at my partner as he looked at me with the same confusion.
Suddenly Duran arched her head backwards her eyes turning full white. She gasped in for air .
My eyes widened 'no no no'.
My body was weak I couldn't move.
I tried to get up,
He let out a loud laugh.

" Duran !Duran! listen to me, fight harder don't listen to what he says, do you know you were strong this whole time I am really happy for you. Dont show him you are weak, remember your son still loves you, he needs you. please don't giv-

"Teki...". I turned towards the owner of the voice filled with sorrow,
his eyes did not leave duran. It was dead silence,
My eyes fell on her.
She laid still with her chin up facing the ceiling, her mouth was gaped and eyes with the same whitness,
Her lips became blue .
'She's here I know she's here, she's alive'
I lied to myself again.
"Duran ? Duran?! Answer me ,tell me you are fine".My voice broke

No answer.

"Teki she's....."

'Don't tell me don't tell me please I don't want to hear it' .I pleaded in my head.

"Gone".
