If I was gonna do it I had to do it now. Before my mom came home. I hated to do this to my mom but I couldn't stand the pain anymore.
I glanced down toward the bottle of painkillers. The dosage was two pills. I dumped half the bottle down my throat and washed it down with water. That would be the last thing I ever taste.
I reached for my phone and dialed Matt's number. Just as planned. He picked up after the third ring.
"Hey Karmen, what's up?"
His voice. I always loved his voice. I could feel the hot tears on my cheeks. This wasn't planned.
"Matt-"
Her voice cracked.
"Matt always remember that I loved you. I called to say good-bye."
The painkillers kicked in, making my knees give out. I fell to the floor. I struck my head on the tile and my vision went black.
