THE SOUTHSIDE"GIRL YES!" SANIYA ROLLED HER eyes. "She was all like: Baby the poor lady is waiting on us!" She mocked Sophia's whiny voice while re-telling the story to Miami and Nichelle. "I don't like that bitch, and I deadass told her that her insecurities were showing."
Miami took a sip from her Mimosa, holding back a laugh. The three friends were out for a late brunch, and catching up on each others lives. They all had been equally as busy and booked, so they hadn't had much time to get together since the party.
"I wish Mercedes could've stayed another week." Nichelle looked down at her phone. "It's always a movie when we're all together."
"True." Saniya nodded. "I like her way better than Taylor."
"Who doesn't?" Nichelle gave her a knowing look. "That little girl be doing too much."
"And to think you let her move in with you." Saniya caught eyes with Miami.
"It's just for a year." Miami shrugged. "It works out for the both of us because I needed help with the twins anyways."
"I mean their father is back now." Saniya looked her over. "You do have a whole extra helping hand."
