Loud thunder rolled overhead as the four girls made their way into the entrance hall. It was pouring down rain and Katherine was more than thankful to get out of the cold and into a nice dry, warm environment. That was, until she heard an ominous laughter coming from above her head and a loud yell coming from the other students all around her.

"PEEVES!" An older woman, a professor with her brown hair pulled into a very tight bun and a furious look on her face stormed into the hall. "Come down her at once!"

Katherine looked up towards the sky and saw a greyish, translucent figure overhead with water balloons overhead. It looked like a - but it couldn't be. Could it?

"Not doing nothing!" he laughed. "They're already wet, aren't they?" With that, he looked over at Katherine and her friends and began to pelt a water balloon towards Loxley - but someone had moved to be in front of her, shielding her from the ominous balloon. A tall, red-headed boy had taken the blow his left arm.

"Now, Peeves," he said.

"Is that any way to treat a lady?" An identical boy had come to stand in front of Katherine. Peeves gave them both a look of annoyance and pelted another water balloon towards the second red-head. He lifted his arms to block, but Katherine had developed good reflexes from being a Seeker since her second year and reached her arm around him to catch it. Disgruntled and frustrated, Peeves turned around and began picking on some fourth years.

"Nice catch," said the twin closest to Katherine, an eyebrow raised.

"Show off," Loxley mocked. Katherine smashed the water balloon on her head.

"You bitch!" she laughed, trying to get her purple hair out of her face as Angelica and the two twins howled with laughter. "I hate you."

"Love you, too," the blonde smirked.

"I'm George," one of the red-headed boys said. "George Weasley."

"Fred," said the other. "The handsomer twin."

"It's more handsome," Loxley corrected.
"No, he's right," Katherine cross-corrected her.

"What?"

"That's grammatically correct. It just doesn't sound as good as more handsome."

"The one time I try to be a grammar Nazi like Kathy!"

Katherine laughed at her eccentric friend. It was true, Katherine was the most grammar-obsessed girl to ever walk the planet.

One of the twins put his arm around the girl's shoulder. "So, Glasses- "

"That's not my name and please don't touch me." She shrugged him off.

"Oh, feisty. Well, if Glasses isn't your name, what is?"
