CHAPTER 4

-ELAINE'S POV-

We sat in class, silently. the teacher was on the phone. I exchanged worried looks with Nicole. The teacher walked in a few minutes later. she walked to the front, there were a few tears in her eyes. "everybody, can I he your attention" she said sniffling. "I just got off the phone will Spencer's mom and well, spencer is in a coma at the hospital" she sniffled. the class was silent until Anika stood up and walked over to Nicole, and gave Nicole a hug. Nicole and Anika bawled me and All the other girls walked over to Nicole and Anika, we stood in a group hug and bawled our eyes out.

A few minutes later everyone in the class even the boys were crying. Liam came over and gave us all hugs, he is so sweet. we tried to calm down but we kept crying. I just could not believe that she was 'gone' or she could be gone.

-ANIKA'S POV-

We were all huddled together. and the bell rang. we ignored it. we stood together. silently sniffling. we did not feel like doing anything, ever again with out spencer.

The bell rang for the end of the day. we all filed out of the class and to our lockers. We all hugged each other before we left and Taylor came up to us. "why are you guys so sad. Spencer was a total slut" she said in a mean voice. she tried to make us hate her. we all looked at each other. it was silent. I saw out of the corner of my eye Nicole raised Her fist and punched her in the face. Taylor fell to the ground. crying and bleeding. I didn't fell the least bit bad. I walked closer to her, she was sprawled up on the floor crying. I lifted my leg and kicked her, right in the stomach. The other girls had a little giggle and we all walked away laughing at her. together like best friends should.

-THE NEXT DAY-

I woke up with a terrible head ache. "Ugh moooooommmm" I mumbled from my room. my mom came running in "what is it dear" she asked worried in my doorway. "head....ache" I said a tear streamed down my cheeks as I thought of spencer "it's ok dear" my mom said walking quickly to my bed. "You can stay home if you want to" she said rubbing my back. "yea u wanna stay home" I cried.

"I will get you some soup" she said walking out of my room into the kitchen. she came back a few minutes later with hot soup. I sipped it down spoon by spoon and fell asleep.

-EMILY'S POV-

I got to school 10 minutes earlier then I usually do. all the girls were there but Spencer and Anika. "where's Anika" I asked. "She is sick. she texted me" said Emma cutting off Katy. "yea" said Katy looking at the ground. she looked like she was going to lay down on the floor and bawl her eyes out.

I patted her on the back. "it's ok" I said trying to crack a smile. we talked for awhile about some clothes we bought. we heard footsteps not to far down the hall. we all stared at the door, just waiting to see, something, anything come through that door.

We watched in silence I looked over at Anika and she was shivering. "hello?" a voice says at the door. "uhhhh hi?" Anika says trebling. "ANIKA" I hiss silently. she looks at my worried and someone with a black hoodie walked in. I could tell it was a guy, he had his hands in his pockets and he seemed super relaxed. I could not see his face but his voice was warming in a way that is indescribable. He put down his hoodie, his face was, was beautiful. he was the hottest guy I have ever seen in the world. His jaw was strong and his nose was perfect. his hair was dark brown and slicked back. he had icy blue eyes that froze me.

I flipped my hair back and Katy stood there, mouth wide open. Elaine was whipping tears from her face and Nicole tried to wipe off mascara from under her eyes. Anika still stood there shivering but I could tell she was trying to hide it. And unlike all of us making silence Spencer would be right up there talking to him and flirting with him unlike us, quiet and shy, spencer was never quiet or shy.
