So today is my first competition, it's been two weeks since we found out about the competitive team. I get to wear some makeup. I am very happy my sister is going to do it for me.
"Rose! Come here I need to do your makeup!!"
"I'm coming!!"
As Mackenzie was doing my makeup, I got a call from sam's mom, he has gotten very very sick, and couldn't make the competition.
"MISS. SYDNEY!! MISS. SYDNEY!! SAM CAN'T COME TO THE COMPETITION!! WHAT DO I DO?!?!"
"Well sweetie, we have our optional, Oliver, he will be dancing with you today."
"Sam will be here next time right??"
"Rose, it will be ok, I promise."
Mackenzie finish's my makeup and I get on my duet costume. (Mine is blue, Mackenzie is white.)
I love my costume and I just keep running the moves through my head. Then it is time to go backstage!! I am kinda nervous, but miss Sydney said if I mess up that's ok.
"Act number 333, run from mother!"
"I got off the stage, my sister ran up to me and told me that I did awesome for my first competition!! My sister then tells me that, I have another number to get ready for, it was my tap dance!! I have a solo in that too!! I'm so happy that I have had the opportunity to do this, this has been my dreams for as long as I can remember, I just hope my dad is watching and is proud, I saw my mom in the audience and she was crying. I went and got ready for tap. I did that and I forgot my solo, but I improved, which is when you just think up the dance as you go, my teacher said that's the best thing I've done and we are going to use that in my next dance!! I'm so happy. I then had my hip hop trio. We did really good. I then ate and waited for awards.
