*Beep Beep Beep!*
I got up right when the first alarm rang. Today was my last day at Westlake High School. I trudged into the bathroom tripping over a shampoo bottle."Fudge." I stood up using the counter as a guide to not slipping on the tile floor. "That's gonna bruise.."
I got turned on music and had a little dance party with my hairbrush and toothbrush.
"Kiss me like the world is gonna disappear." I sang. Well too much for that idea.
"Tae stop singing." Richard knocked on the door. "Other people gotta get ready too ya know?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'll just go have a dance party in my room then, mother trucker." I sassily replied.
"Just get out, you've been watching too much Colleen Ballinger." He slightly laughed.
I mean c'mon, my bedroom attaches to this bathroom. He's just jealous that we have to share. It's not connected to his room.
I went back into my room and sat at my desk. I reached behind my lamp for my essential makeup. Nothing more than just some concealer, a little bit of blush because I am as pale as a potato, some eyeshadow one shade darker than my skin tone and lastly, some lipstick. Pretty natural if you ask me. I get up from my chair and walk over to my dresser that used to be my moms when she was little.
I decide to put on royal blue as it's our spirit color. Because hey, spirit wear on the last day?Point one Tae.
I chose a royal blue t-shirt dress with my lucky sneakers and pinned my brown hair back with some flower pins.
I went out to the kitchen and toasted myself some waffles and cut some fresh fruit into a smoothie. Mom sleepily wondered into the hall with her flowered robe, and my brother followed behind. He was wearing a plain tee and a plaid long sleeve shirt over it. My brother has been acting distant for a couple of months now. I'm kinda nervous.
I washed my plate off and grabbed my laptop. I threw my backpack on and took my smoothie with me. Richard, my brother followed behind.
"Have a good day mom!" I called as I ran out the door, "we're late, the bus comes in 2 minutes!"I ran down the stairs and out the door, waving to the security guard on my way out. I saw a sliver of yellow and knew it was the bus. It pulled to a halt in front of me and I got on. There were a couple of other students there too. After I took my seat next to Bree, the middle school bus came for Richard.
"Did you ask your mom about coming over?" I asked her.
"Yes, she said yes." She replied. We talked on and on about random stuff and then before we knew it, we arrived to the school! Leaving in March is hard but I know that Lola needs us. (Lola is grandma in Filipino.)
I went up to my locker and started to put some decorations away.
There's a sign in there that says 'What To Bring For LA:' I don't know why that's still in there but each year every grade has a trip. This year the Sophomore trip was to LA. The locker sign is by my friend Cami. She's in the locker next to mine. And Bree's is below mine. We made the squad in Sixth Grade when Cami and I met Bree. (Bree went to another elementary.) We were called the Three Peas In A Pod Squad. I was taking down my locker decorations, and extra pencils, erasers, markers, you get the picture.
"Why are you taking decorations out?" Bree looked up at me in confusion.
Oh crap I didn't tell her..
"I just thought I'd try something new!" I nervously lied.
"Oh cool!" She grabbed her books and shut the lockers door
Brad Stetson picked it up, at the same time I did. He touched my hand and then proceeded to touch my arms, and shoulders and neck. I shoved him off of me, "Get off me now." And proceeded to grab my Biology notebook and binder and headed off to home room.
