I was back at work on the Dinho case and it frustrated me so much. Part of me wanted to quit, knowing it would be hard to find him but I wasn't one to give up so quickly, despite being on the case for almost a year.

Chip had resigned from the office and began doing YouTube as a full time job. Of course the office wanted him to stay but he didn't.

I haven't spoken to Harry in a while, it's been about 4 days since I last spoke to him. I was kind of mad at him, he promised to talk to me but he isn't.

(The names are what they have saved eachother on their phones)

ChocoChip : Has Harry spoken to you recently?

Mintlynn : No...

ChocoChip : I told you he was trouble. You've been so down lately, we're going out when you finish work to get your mind off it

Mintlynn : Do we have to?

ChocoChip : Yes, beside Cal and Sarah are coming too so you have to

Mintlynn : fine, I finish in 10, pick me up

ChocoChip : okay, love you

I sighed, placing my phone down and trying to finish my work quickly.

10 minutes passed and I was finally finished with work. Chip was outside so I quickly collected my bag and jacket before leaving the building and getting into the car.

"Stop being so glum. You need to move on from Harry, I told you he was trouble." Chip sighed, leaning over to give me a hug and a kiss on my cheek.

"I know but it's hard. You know how my other relationships have worked. I thought Harry was special." I sighed, looking out the window.

"I can cancel the plans."

"No, you can still go, I want you to have a good time. Sarah told me it was some sort of youtube party and you should go, make some friends. I'll just stay at home and watch films or something."

"Im not letting you stay at home alone. Freezy isn't going so I'll tell him to stay the night."

"You don't need to, I'm sure he has editing to do anyways." Chip was so determined to make sure I wasn't alone but that's what I wanted, I didn't want anyone with me.

"He's coming over, there's no point avoiding it. Stop being so stubborn." He sighed heavily.

"Whatever..." I mumbled. I love Chip but he's equally as stubborn.

"Maddie, I'm doing this because I love you. I want you to be happy, not crying over some boy who can't treat you right."

"I know, but it's hard. I cared about him a lot and you know that too." Tears began blurring my vision.

"M, I know it's hard but me and the boys are here for you, so is Sarah. We all love you and want the best for you." Chip parked the car and faced me, holding my hand and wiping away my tears.

"I know, I'm sorry..." I sighed. "Come on, let's go." I smiled lightly. He nodded and got out the car. I pulled out my phone and opened up Snapchat. "Race?" I grinned as I got us both in shot and began recording.
