-Jessabelle-

I sit up tiredly in my bed. Someone keeps saying my name. I open my eyes and see Dan. "Good morning. Mrs. Barker wants to talk to you about a competition. I think it's for jumping..." He trails off. I nod my head and get out of bed. I walk to my closet and grab a pink Polo shirt and riding boots and pants. Dan walks out letting me change. Lydia isn't here, if you were wondering. She is at a Dressage Competition.

I walk out of the dorm room and walk to the stables. I see Revie waiting for me patiently in her stall. On the way I start to hum to the beat of Viva La Vida by Coldplay. I groom Revie and tack up. I walk Revie out of her stall and hop on. I click my heels so she is in a slow trot. I don't want to make a commotion, so I step her into the grass.

I am heading towards the arena when I see Lydia getting yelled at. Maybe I should stay out of this one. I trot pass them and into the arena. Mrs. Barker and Dan are talking. They are both on their horses. I come up on Dan and Mrs. Barker.

"Darling, I have entered you into a jumping comp and I need you to start packing. Before you pack practice in here. This is the private arena. No one will bother you." She says quickly. I nod and she leads herself and Dan out of the arena. This arena is outdoors, but has a covered roof and sidelines. I let Revie trot around the sidelines before leading her to the middle. I halt her to a stop in front of a jump.

The order is a fence, a oxer, and a double oxer. Not too hard. Well, for me. I push Revie to a canter. 1,2. 1,2. Jump! Cleared it!

So far I haven't hit a pole. YET. It's around lunch time so I head out to the cafe. But first I must wash Revie. She is a mess. I untack and tie her up in the washing station. I brush her off and hose her down. I wash her mane and tail first, and then her body. I rinse off the suds and comb through her mane and tail. Mrs. Barker said that the comp was tomorrow. Better rest A LOT.

I unclip Revie and take her to her stall. I put her tack and brushes away. I am heading to the cafe. I'm starving. Once at the cafe I grab some grilled chicken and mash. I sprinkle seasoned salt all over my chicken. I finish my mash and spicy chicken and head to my room.

Lydia is sound asleep on the couch with Meet The Fockers on. Boy, I love this movie! I head to bed and think about tomorrow. I have only been here for, what? Three days now? I slowly feel my eyelids getting heavy. I drift off thinking about something random. Finally, sleep.
