Silent, warm and just right,
limbs rubbing softly.
There be no need for words,
we can just lie here.
Wandering hand sate their lust,
the silken blanket soothes the skin.
Soft breath, humid and delicate,
Unburdened by the weight of things.
Under the duvet the world stands still:
For you and I are the world.
Everything that is, and will ever be,
is here with us.
Velvet pillows caressing the back of our necks,
Lightly scented perfume proliferates in the air.
The sun’s effulgence enters the window,
The morning beckons, let us indulge each other.
