“Oh my!” I spluttered as I dart my curious eyes all over the school facilities.
The school was huge...Humongous, to be exact.
Four magnificent buildings stands proudly with their unbelievable height that almost reached the blue sky. It would get you wondering how such thing existed, it must have took a freaking lot of work and restless days to build. And in the middle of the four tall buildings there was a wide covered court surrounded with assorted roses with varied colors, it was like surrounded with a perfect circular rainbow.
This school came straight out of fantasy world that most people dreamt about.
And I'm just glad that I focused on my studies to get those straight A's instead of going to malicious rendezvous with irrational and do-all-they-want-without-thinking teens.
Yes, I wouldn't lie that I used to dream about going to a wild rendezvous with some of my future—that ends up nonexistent—friends, but my parents and my brother were quick enough to let me see the real nature of the cruel world. So I ended up sticking my butt in the house with my books, study like an addict and work hard for my future.
And all of that hard work was completely worth it. All of those hard works gifted me a rare scholarship to this prestigious school.
'Hexford College'
My attention was immediately grasped when I saw a group of students hanging around here and there. Some looked like Jocks, cheerleaders, average, rich kids, bad boys, and nerds. Just the average students that the school must have. I didn't expect less, I just hope that not all of them would bear the behavior of bitchiness.
Snapping myself out of my embarrassing awestruck, I've decided to strode my way towards the detailed map posted on a medium sized board near me. It was such a great idea of the school to post a map beside the gate for the newcomers instead of letting them stray around to find the reception area and ask for confusing directions.
“Hi.” A deep tauted voice spoke behind me.
I immediately turned around to see a man around my age. The first thing I noticed was the upper portion of his face. His brows are currently knitted with a certain emotion that runs through his bright, green eyes. Confusion. I took a short second to scan his all over face structure and I was struck with another wave of awe after that.
He looks like an innocent angel straight from heaven!
“Yes?” I replied with a smile.
“A-are you also new around here?” He stuttered while fumbling with the strap of his bag.
He is so freakin' cute.
“Yes, yes I am,” I said without the smile leaving my quirked lips. “Are you also new?” I asked, curiously.
“Mhm,” He hummed in agreement before nodding his head. “I-I was actually afraid that I-I'll be the only one.” He added in a whispering manner.
“Me too,” I responded, his shy yet cute demeanor caused my smile to grew wider than before. “I'm Evon.” I silently laid my hand out after uttering that small introduction, hoping to have a simple handshake with him.
