No one can ever stop me.

That was the current thought circulating in my own mind as I gazed forward. I drummed my fingers on the cold, hard table as I looked at the digital clock attached on the white wall with a pure determination and eagerness visible on my face. I was only waiting for the shrill sound of the bell to reverberate all throughout the school premises.

For some, it would mean that they're temporarily out of their cells. But for me, it's a signal.

The signal of the first step of my marvelous plan that I've created during the break.

I couldn't help but give myself an imaginary pat on the back as I remembered my short and temporary hardships. I was completely and utterly glad that the laws and regulations of the University were written on the students' pamphlet, it gave me a lot of knowledge. Knowledge that I can use as my big advantage.

“—That'll be all for today.” Was the last thing I heard from Mrs. Chimney before the audible sound of the shrilling bell rang throughout the whole university, signalling the end of school. Only for today of course.

One by one, the students started to exit the classroom. Some of them were chirping in glee. Some of them were stretching their own back that was hunched for almost like an hour. Some of the female students started to form their own circles to have their makeup retouch. And of course the backbenchers started their insignificant chatters, I even overheard one of them asking if they understood what Mrs. Chimney was saying during her short introduction and lessons.

Just the usual. Nothing special.

My eyes immediately caught sight of Gabrielli's movement. He was currently packing his things, shoving his pen and notebooks inside his black Jansport in complete agitation and eagerness. Frowning, he froze. He slowly looked around his surrounding with a disturbed stance, he must have felt the intensity of my gaze piercing a hole through his body. Metaphorically, of course.

A millisecond after that, our eyes met. The frown on his face instantly vanished. It was as if he was relieved to know that I was the person who was staring at him. He gave me a subtle nod along with a small yet menacing smirk painted on his pinkish lips. He was trying to annoy me. That's for sure.

His smirk looked menacing enough to frighten a person who's about to confront him. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't frightened by him, by his mere presence. He looked powerful. He looked powerful enough to throw me out of this university.

I mean, why can't he? He's rich. He has the money. And money can control an entire society.

Grunting, I shoved myself out of my cowardice zone. I mustn't let my cowardice stop me. Not this time.

I was about to look away from him to avoid the combustion of my nerves but the words he mouthed towards me made me froze.

Hi Princess.

I wanted to cringe so bad. The endearment that he used made him look like a complete pedophile who's about to commit his umpteenth crime. But obviously, he doesn't care. I immediately shattered the eye contact, planting my eyes on the fountain pen in front of me.

After a short moment of  being in a temporary trance, I started packing my own things, placing the silver fountain pen inside my gray Herschel backpack where it originally belongs. When I was about to peel myself away from my seat to carry out the remaining parts of the plan, the most cliché scenario happened.

I accidentally bumped into someone.

“I'm sor—”

“Hey! Watch where you are going, delusional girl.” Those words were exclaimed by a female.
