Chapter 1: Their Story Begins

 CINDERELLA's POV

"Don't be afraid of all the troubles in the future, just think of all the laughter in the present. Stop remembering the pain you suffered in the past. Everything happens for a reason, so enjoy the fairytale and memories while it last" those were the words in my mother's song, the one song she would always sing to me when I was merely a child but all of that have stopped when she died because of a terrible curse. When I turned to the age of thirteen my father remarried to a seemingly nice lady but when my father dies all her true selves come out also her 2 stepdaughter's. They expect me to work for them and probably the whole town. I had worked so much that I memorized the whole kingdoms in and out ways.

3rd PERSON POV

In this moment, Cinderella was working outside feeding the animals in their barn when her stepmother called out or more like shouted her name.

"CINDERELLA!"

Cinderella or Ella as her best friend Rapunzel and her parents used to call, her has never thought of someone as evil as her. She would give her the toughest of chores anyone can receive. At last as she made her way to the top of the stairs wearing her filthy clothes she knocked and entered right away as she heard a reply.

"Yes, Madame?" she asked politely.

"Ready yourself you are to go to the market to fetch me some things" he stepmother said in the rudest way possible.

"Yes Madame" and as she answered she got out of the room and dressed up for the market.

As Cinderella got back from the market with the items she was about to get in when a man dressed in a castle guard uniform on his horse called out to her.

"Miss!" the castle guard called. Cinderella hurriedly hid her face by a white cloak, her mom's white cloak.

"Can I help you sir?" she asked. Through her cloak she saw the man getting something from his stash of letters behind him. As he found what he was looking for he handed Cinderella a letter that had the royal family's coat of arms on it (seal). She eyed it suspiciously and asked herself mentally what on earth did the royal family want from them? (Or what is the royal family up to this time?).

As the castle guard sped away on his horse Cinderella hurried inside their mansion and found her stepmother and stepsisters all in the living room doing who knows what in their spare time. She came in the living room and was hesitant to give the letter to her stepmother but she knew she had to.
