Carl's P.O.V
I walked into the living room and sat on the couch next to Michonne. "So what happened?" She asked me looking genuely concerned. "Ellie....she broke.... Loosing Daryl.....my dad..... I don't think she could take it anymore....." Michonne looked at the ground and nodded her head. "Yeah...." I look at the ground too. "Its only been a day and I already miss em like hell....both of em...." Michonne nods again. "Yeah....your dad.....he was a good man.....a strong man....to be honest....I thought he would make it....." I look at Michonne and see tears in her eyes. Michonne....she never cries. "I was gone for a long time.....but the Andrea brought me back.....your dad brought me back.....Ellie brought me back......you did....." She smiled at me and started to tear up again. I sniffed and looked at her. "He told me the other day....that he was proud of me....that I was a good man.....I'm not...." "Carl...." "I know more now....about...what he wanted for me....and I tried but I.....I still have these thoughts....I'm not what he thought I was......I'm just another monster too....." I started to tear up and so did Michonne. She hugged me and I hugged her back crying.
That was a really short chapter. Sorry but yeah. This chapter really focused more on Michonne and Carl's relationship. So yeah. I cried writing this chapter. I hope you cried reading it. lol And yes I know this scene happened in the woods after Rick bit Joe's neck. I understand that. But that can't happen now cuz Rick's dead. So it happened in a house. Also I reworded it. But it is not mine. It still belongs to AMC and I don't claim the words as mine. Thanks. Bye Bye!
