I was just checking my Instagram when I heard a calm knock at my door. I got up reluctantly and walked towards the two oak wood doors standing infront of me, I gently grasp the handle and pull the door,
"Your presence is urgently required." The woman infront of me stood wearing a black outfit from head to toe, she was staring at the floor shyly, I looked at her and said,
"Am I getting sued?" She shook her head and handed me a brown cardboard box and a letter with a red bow, on the front of the letter in beautiful handwriting my name was written,
"Gabbie Johnson" I looked at it with a surprised look and looked up and she had disappeared into nowhere. I walk back inside closing the doors behind me. I casually sit down, lounging on the couch. I opened the letter carefully; wanting not to ruin it. I took it out and it was folded into an origami type square and on the outside said my YouTube channel. I opened it up and it read this,

My esteemed friends,
I have acquired an illustrious estate from the death of a distant relative whom I've never met. I thought it's only fitting that I invite you all. To attend a dinner party on the grounds, it will certainly be a night to remember. However the estate, it's quite peculiar and only exists in the year 1920. To enter its grounds you need to be dressed head to toe in clothing of that era (your outfit is provided in the box). If you are carrying anything from the modern world, the house will just not appear to you. And not only your clothing but your attitude must reflect the time, I've included your characteristics on the back of this invitation. My driver will pick you up and take you on a road that can only be driven by this insane, time- traveling automobile. Then almost like magic the house will appear, I hope to see you soon,

When I had finished reading the note I immediately flipped it over to see my characteristics, I was assigned The Historiographer. I wasn't surprised when I got this since I am OBSESSED with history, then I opened the box to see a beautiful black, green and gold dress that had tassels hanging down at the end of it, It was to be paired with a beautiful sheer cardigan with roses and many other flowers, underneath that were 3 inch strapped flapper heels. I saw a head piece and a note telling me how to have my hair and makeup, there were also a few accessories such as 3 silver bangles, silver earrings with tassels, and a beautiful real diamond ring, When I saw all of the pieces together I realised I only had two hours to get ready so I got up and ran upstairs to my bedroom. Inside I got my outfit on, all together and it looked beautiful then I walked over to my vanity with only one hour to do my hair and makeup. I started with hair and did some light curls and then I carefully put my headpiece on making sure I didn't mess up the shape of the curls, then I applied my foundation and started the makeup routine following all of the instructions, at the end I finished with a beautiful look. I quickly grabbed a clutch purse and stuck my lipstick in. As soon as I put my earrings in, I heard another gentle knock at the door, I fixed my hair and walked downstairs, I opened the door to the driver opening my door on the automobile, I got in and that's when the journey began.
