After finishing the little mess you just made,you went upstairs to find Kate. She wasn't in her bathroom nor the wardrobe. There's only one place you didn't check -under the bed. You didn't bother to went over there.
"You know you don't have to be scared of me" you said softly hoping she will come out but didn't
"It's me,(y/n).." you said with a bit of regretness. You never show your identity on your victim. To come and think about it, Kate actually isn't your victim. So,you trust her to know.
'you know you might regret it right?' Your mind spoke to you
You sigh.
Kate's pov
'(Y/n)?'
I slowly crawl out of my hiding spot and stod there,looking straight towards the stranger that called (y/n). My legs were shaking and hope that (y/n) wouldn't notice. Tears started to form in my eyes as she takes steps towards me.
I close my eyes execpting my fate.
I felt hands touches my skin and i flinch.
'She's hugging me'
I was confused on why was she hugging me. I thought no one cares about me. I immediately hug her back, crying on her shoulder. I don't want this feeling to end. Please. I missed this.
I cried and cried not realising that my eyes are getting red. I soon drifted off to sleep.
"Goodnight,kate" (y/n) whisper in my ear. I weakly smile at her and went to sleep.
Your pov
You smile and kept comforting her that it'll be all right. She kept crying on your shoulder but it didn't bother much. You knew she needed this as you rub her back like a mother.
You told her to grab her things and she followed your orders. She seemed delighted to see you. After helping her packing her stuff, you use your power to float her bag while you carry Kate on your back. You jump towards the window making Kate yelp a bit and tighten her arm around your neck so she didn't fall back.you were about to go to your house but Kate request you that she wanted to see the stars. You understand her needs so you follow what you have been told.
"Woah,so pretty!" Kate said with amazement in her voice. You just stand there chuckled at her behaviour. You soon join her.
The suprise thing is that she didn't even seemed to be bothered about the incident at the basement. Remembering the wounds at her body. You took out the first aid and patch her up.
"Hey,(y/n)?" Kate asked
"Yeah?" You awnsered
"Why did you..kill her?" Kate mumbled the last part
You were quiet, trying to find a reasonable excuse. "I was..saving you from her, I never trusted your mother since the time i met her...Kate please-"
"I-it's okay. I understand that you dont like her,same as I do." She interrupted you and gave you a smile. You can sense her postive energy back and hugged her.
You looked at your watch and it was 1:45 a.m.. Kinda late for Kate to be awake. So you asked her if she was sleepy and she noded. You carried her on your back and soon she goes to sleep on your shoulder. You were trying to find a shortcut to your house because you don't really like to walk all your way to home-it will be like an hour to reach there
The woods
You look at the woods remembering the mysterious girl and the creature. Shivers went down to your spine but you brush it off. 'Either go big or go home.' You thought to yourself. You walk and walk until you're at the deeper part of the woods.
Suddenly you heard, a rustle near you and you look at the bush,standing there waiting for the creature to come out. You were releasing the dark from your veins waiting it to attack at any moment.
The rustle become louder and louder. You took a step closer, and it was a...
Rabbit?
You mentally face palm yourself and sigh.
"Haha,silly-"
'Click'
You got interupted once again by a familiar noise as if someone was loading a gun. You turn around slowly to find yourself being pointed by a gun near your face. Well actually, your mask. You were shocked. You decided to look at person.
A guy around 6 foot tall,wearing a yellow hoodie and a black mask which has red eyes and a frown.
You commanded the dark silently and the next thing you know that the yellow hooded person was floating on the air while his gun was on the ground. You commanded the dark again so he could suffocated. He was holding his neck. Then you saw a bandage wrapping on his his right hand.
It couldn't be
"B-brian?" You manage to ask him
"H-HOW D-DO YOU K-KNOW MY NAME?" he shouted.
you immediately release him,leaving him gasping and coughing. He stare at you and you took out your mask. He gasped.
"(Y/n)?"
You ran to him and hugged him. Apologizing him many times. He just stood there and soon hugging you back. You were crying
"O-OH GOD BRIAN, IM SORRY..im sorry" you cried on his shoulders
