   The brown head girl sighed as she stared at the paper in distress.She sat there silently scolding herself for watching Netflix till three in the morning.Maths was never Jasmine's best subject anyway.She glanced at the clock in front of her,only to realize that she had 5 more minutes left until school finished and then she would finally be on summer vacation. She wasn't to excited about knowing her father would be too busy with work to even spend time with her and to her knowledge her two bestfriends hadn't mention a word about going out together,though she was sure that Sasha had plans with her boyfriend-Brent while Nate would be spending time with his family

The bell rang,taking Jasmine out of her thoughts.Everyone handed over their papers as they walked out,eager to finally relax and not worry about any formulas for the next two months.As Jasmine entered the hallway,she stood on her toes in attempt to find her bestfriends-Sasha and Nate.Finally she spotted them over by the lockers,Sasha hand in hand with Brent while Nate stood awkwardly.She silently laughed to herself as she made her way towards them.

"Hey Jazz,"Nate greeted her,embracing her in a long hug.

She turned to Sasha only to find her and Brent laughing at something on his phone.Jealousy tugged at Jasmine's heart as she watched the two.See ever since Brent and Sasha started dating a few months ago,Sasha began to spend less time with Jasmine and Nate and more time with Brent.The two were happy that she finally found love but they sometimes wished Sasha would make time for them to. Though they never mentioned anything to her as they knew she would be gotten angry at them and ignore them for weeks.

"How about you and I go for ice cream and leave these two?"Nate whispered in Jasmine's ear.Jasmine's heart sky rocketed and she quickly hid her face to cover the blush that was forming.

She nodded excitedly but her tummy churned with anxiety.This was a normal thing to feel this way to Jasmine.She'd always feel nervous whenever she knew that it was gonna be her and Nate alone.She never thought much of it as she always thought this is how every girl felt around their boy bestfriend.

"Hey we're going to get ice cream.You're coming by me tonight right?"Jasmine said to Sasha,cutting into Brent and her conversation

She felt Brent's glare at the side of her head but ignored him like she always did.
Sasha smiled knowingly, "Of course I'm coming.I'll see you later Jazz,love you girl.Bye Nate."

The three bestfriends hugged and said their final goodbyes as Nate grabbed Jasmine's hand and pull her out the school and towards his motorbike.He shoved the helmet on her head and grinned at how adorable she looked.
Jasmine reluctantly got on the bike and wrapped her arms round her bestfriend torso.She was never fond of Nate's bike but with him she felt safe.

"Ready?"Nate asked glancing back at her.

She nodded excitedly.

"I'm ready to make this summer worth it," as she thought as she took one last look of her school.
