Before you knew it, you were down 3 drinks.
Recently, the college you went to informed you that you would have to leave if you couldn't pay for your debt. You couldn't pay for it. You were broke and your family couldn't send you money due to issues back home.
You were a mess. You were broken.
You sat there, tears streaming down your face, as you stared at the letter they sent.
Just then, an extremely handsome older man walked in the bar. He started to sit at one end of the bar, until he saw you, crying.
'Why is a pretty girl like herself, sitting here alone, crying?'
He ordered a beer and sat next to you.
You looked to the side of you to see who sat next to you out of all these chairs.

'Wow, he's handsome.'
But you could care less about this man, you were too heartbroken over your scholarship.
'Are you okay?', he suddenly spoke.
'Yes.', you wiped your tears and nodded.
He saw 3 empty glasses sitting in front of you and knew you were lying.
'Judging by the tears stained on your soft cheeks and the glasses in front of you. I think you're lying.'
'We don't know each other, I can't burden you, seriously. It's not that big of deal. I don't mean to be rude, but I can't burden you.'
'If I figured you were a burden, I wouldn't bother asking.', he said sweetly.
