The beginning.

Naruto opened his heavy eyelids, he smelled smoke. Naruto shifted upright, ready to run if any of the villagers tried to set him on fire. He heard a voice

"Don't move" it said

"Huhhh...?" Naruto mumbled as he stood up

"Oh.. your wounds are healed?" the strange voice said with a prick of interest.

"Yea...." Naruto was too fatigued to wonder why this strange voice even cared, after all only one person in the village seemed to show concern for him and that was Teuchi the ramen man. However, Naruto put the pieces together and then immediately focused on the blurry figure. It appeared to be a boy, around chuunin age that had blonde, ruffled hair and black eyes. Naruto hadn't seen this person, so he quickly noticed the headband he was wearing.

"H-Hey stay away from me!" Naruto stuttered as he backed away from the Kumo shinobi. "I can fight you!" Naruto put up his fists and gave the boy a nasty glare.He was unsure why this person was looking amused rather than annoyed.

"I don't even feel like fighting a adult, much less a child" the boy responded. He resisted the urge to hysterically laugh at this child.

"You're a lazy asshole!" Naruto wailed "Fight me!" He went up to him and punched him in the nose. Naruto stepped back and stubbornly declared "I win."

"You shouldn't punch the person who just saved your sorry hide" The boy yelled at him as he held his now bleeding nose.

"You probably only did it on someones orders!" Naruto shot back at him. He sat down and squinted at the boy, giving him a death glare.

"I'm not going to even bother with you anymore if you insult me for helping you." The boy stood up and began walking very slowly towards the village

"N-no! You can't leave me out here alone!." Naruto screamed

"Then say sorry, and maybe i'll forgive you" The boy chided him with amusement in his voice

"Ungh, i'm sorry."." Naruto then popped his head up and asked "Why are you here in Konoha anyways?" Naruto gave him a suspicious look again.

"I'm a ambassador from Kumo. I'm here to simply negotiate with Konoha in the Raikage's stead."The boy seemed to be getting irritated.

"Can you tell me about your life in Kumo!" Naruto begged him. He wanted to find out about other villages so he could get ahead of his classmates.

"Uhm.. Suree?" He responded raising his eyebrows. The boy wanted to go back to the village and rest, sitting on a log in this dumbass forest for 3 hours and listening to this boy wasn't his idea of a good morning.

"Is it like here in Konoha!? Is there ramen? Is it really as high in the mountains as they say?"

Naruto threw questions at him left and right

"Well i guess the answer is yes to all three of those" He answered

"It sounds fun!" Naruto exclaimed with a strange look at the boy

"I guess it is...?" The boy yawned and wondered how long could this child continue blabbering

"Are you ever going to tell me your name?" Naruto asked him.

"It's Cee." He responded "What's yours?"

"Naruto Uzumaki! I'm going to be hokage one day!" Naruto replied happily. He'd show this Kumo nin he'd become a powerful shinobi when he grew up.

"Well, that's nice i guess.." Cee replied with pity in his voice. Obviously if villagers beat him, it was unlikely for him to get a position in the village.

"...." Naruto paused and stared at Cee "Don't give me that look! Jiji gives it to me every single day!" He hated how people looked at him with pity. He was going to become hokage, one day.

"Well, i'm sorry kid. I've gotta be on my way." Cee stood up slowly and picked up his pack

"Well, i'll be off too." Naruto zoomed off to the village. He had a plan, but he needed to tell Jiji about this. Cee watched as naruto ran off with a wild grin on his face.

"That kid is planning something.." Cee mumbled to himself as he got off the log that he'd been sitting on.

"Jiji! Can i talk to you!" Naruto ran into the Hokage's office, arms flailing. The familiar musty scent filled his nostrils has he saw the third hokage, Hiruzen slowly turned in his chair.

"Yes, Naruto. What is it? Have the villagers hurt you again?" Hiruzen asked

"No.. but i have a request. Can i.. leave the village.. forever?" Naruto begged him.

"But Naruto, this is where your parents and ancestors lived for generations! Please give it another chance." Hiruzen grew worried, he had a feeling this would eventually happen.

"No. I'm sick of this place! Nobody likes me or even cares what happens to me!" Naruto yelled

Jiji had to understand the horrible things he was going through, right?

"No, Naruto. I cannot let you go. It's your duty to stay loyal to your birth village." Hiruzen said as gently as he could. Naruto however, ran out of the office.

"I don't care any more! I'll just run away!" Naruto screamed as he ran through crowds of villagers. Naruto noticed Cee was leaving the village gate. Naruto sped up and snuck up behind him.As he slowly followed him out of the village, Naruto looked back at Konoha and smiled. "Not gonna miss you." He thought.
