I rushed over to my friend. Why was he here? More importantly, why am I trusting some guy with my life to get me to school if he just ran over my best friend?!

Logan turned around and smiled. "Hi," was all he said...and that's where I lost it again.

"Who do you think you are?! You do something you should be 'put away' for, and don't show up at school for almost two weeks which left me really worried. Then, you magically appear, get run over by a bus, and all you have to say is hi?!?! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I shouted. I was no longer worried about Logan. I was furious with him.

"Well, um... I, uh...," Logan started to say.

"Well, uh, what? What are you trying to tell me?"

"I, uh...nevermind. Could you help me up?" Logan asked. I nodded in agreement, but now my mind was full of even more questions that I needed the answer to. What was Logan trying to tell me?

I discarded that thought and thought that I should save it for later. Logan's hurt, and I think that should be a little more important at the moment than some silly question. I went to go help him up. "So how have you been?" he started to ask.

"Oh, you know...my 'parents' are still major assholes. Same miserable life, " I replied.

"That sounds absolutely marvelous!" he said with a smile. Logan was always known to joke around like that. Sarcasm was his talent. Other than being rather annoying, of course.

"So, uh...did you break anything or...?" I started to ask, changing the subject.

"Hm...let's see. I've broken a few rules. Probably broke my friendship and trust with you. I--"

"I meant any bones, smart ass."

"Oh, uh... Well, what do you think?! I just got ran over by a bus!"

"Well, I don't know! It's your body! Am I just supposed to know? I'm not the smartest person in the world, y'know."
And after that, it was silent.

"I'm sorry, Iris..," Logan finally said.

"I'm sorry, too. It's just, y'know. After not seeing you for a while, I guess I just have all this anger built up inside me. So many things have been happening in your absence. I was terrified. I didn't know where you had gone, if you were even alive... I mean, I don't ever want to lose you."

"I'm glad you feel that way, because...what I wanted to tell you earlier..., " Logan was cut off.

"HEY! WE HAVE CHILDREN TO GET TO SCHOOL, FOLKS. FINISH YOUR TWILIGHT ROMANCE LATER!" our bus driver screamed.

"Guess we better get going. C'mon. Let me help you," I told Logan. We got on the bus, and our journey to Hell was continued.

And the day just continued to get worse...
