Chapter 12: I Can't Do It

"Um.. So this is really weird, with us just meeting you and all, but uh.. Jai's cheating on you with our ex best friend," Britney said saying the last nine words super fast.

I shook my head in denial, "Haha. You guys are so cute. Jai would never cheat on me. He l-loves me," I said half fake laughing at them.

They all came over to me, as I slowly started to cry, and gave me a big, tight group hug. It comforted me in a way that bit even Jai or Mikayla, Aaliyah, and Michelle ever could. I slowly, but surely, started to full-out sob. I was kind of embarrassed in front of these girls. I guess it was because, in senior year, if I cried, I was weak and therefore, it would be harder punches and meaner names.

"Her name is Amelia," Alyssa said as my heart froze.

"A-Amelia," I stuttered as the girls nodded their heads. I broke down into tears and fell on the floor. How couldn't I, though. The person that I love is probably at Amelia's house, as I lay here on the ground, having a grand old time. I felt that my heart was ripped right out and thrown in the garbage. I felt like it was thrown out without ever fulfilling its purpose of love. I knew that I couldn't take it anymore. I need Jai out of my life or this panic attack might be a full time job.

I ask Joanna where Amelia lives and she said,"Are you sure you don't want us to come?"

I shook my head,"This is just between Jai, Amelia, and I. Thanks for all of the help, though," I smiled a very crooked smile.

-Jai's POV-

Amelia and I have been kissing since the girls left and, surprisingly, it hasn't led into anything. All of a sudden, I hear a very weak knock at the door. I stop kissing Amelia, but she just doesn't want to break the kiss. Well, I want to know who's at the door and Amelia just won't stop kissing me. I immediately think to bite her lip, and I do it.

"Ow!"she screams as I get up and run away to the door.

"Hey Jai," she starts. I'm in some deep shit right now.

Oh no! Jariana! Is Ariana going to break up with Jai? Is Jai going to break Ari's heart even more? Is that even Ariana at the door? Guess you'll find out next chapter.

OMG guys! I seriously love the fact that you keep reading the story. I'm am so sorry I haven't been updating but I haven't been feeling well in the last couple of days. Thank you so so so so much for over 300 reads. It made my heart freeze to see that the number got so high in a matter of days. I really can't explain how much I love you guys and that you still continue to read my story. Every time, before I publish a new a chapter, I always think to myself that this is so boring and short and nobody will like it. But you guys continuously read this story and for that I am utterly grateful.
