You're going to leave soon, aren't you? I know you are. I know this will come to an end. It's too good to last. I suppose even the best books must have a final chapter.
Doesn't mean I'm willing to part with you, though. It'll be lonely with you gone. I've sort of grown to love the soft sound of your breathing, the light flutter of your eyelashes when you blink. Best of all is the swishing noise you make when you turn the page. Because I know that if only for a few more moments, you'll be with me.
I'm sorry. I shouldn't say that, should I?
But it's nice to have someone to say it to.
