I looked outside the door and quickly walked outside of the door.
"Hey, where are you going?" I heard someone call out. I just ignored them and kept walking, I needed to take the copies to my room before someone caught me with them.
I didn't know what to do. We tell people, we die. We don't tell people, they die. I hid the copies in between the mattress and bed frame of my bed, nobody would check under a mattress for anything. I flopped down onto the mattress and closed my eyes, taking deep breaths, and before I knew it, I fell asleep.
I woke up to knocking. Grumbling, I got up and opened the door. It was the whole group, Robin, Winsley, Ash, and Taylor.
"Hey, we were all talking," Robin said, "and we tHe think we need to do something."
Winsley nodded, "Like, tell the people and fight against Julie."
I hushed them and pulled them all into the room.
"You need to keep quiet, you're going to get us all killed!" I whisper shouted at them.
"If anything, Robin would be the first to get us all killed. He's the loudest," Ash joked.
I semi-smiled at that comment, Robin was the loudest of all of us. At least as far as I know, he runs heavily and talks extremely loud even for the smallest things.
"Can we get back on track? My parents died and I would like to venge them." Taylor said.
I nodded, "Do you guys even have a plan?"
Ash fidgeted, "Kind of, we think we should make a video to inform the people. Buuuuuut... we don't know what to do about the guards or Julie."
I took a deep breath. This was a bad situation, I would like to help, but I don't know what to do. There's so much that could go wrong, and barely anything that could go right.
"Maybe we could find a way to sneak in and make the video," I suggested.
Everyone nodded along with my suggestion, making their own suggestions on how to sneak in. Then one hit me, Ash suggested it.
"Maybe one of us could disguise as a guard and get into the control room again," She said proudly.
I nodded, "That could work, great idea."
She smiled and nodded once as a thank you. "There's no need to say that, but thank you," She mocked me.
I laughed, "All I said was, great idea."
She just shrugged and laughed. Robin looked at me and then at Ash and sighed.
Suddenly, there was a hard knock at the door. We all stopped talking and stayed as quiet as we could.
A booming voice came through the door, "Open up now! Julie's orders."
"Crap! What do we do now?" Robin whispered.
I motioned around the room, I had remembered there were small exits and hiding spots throughout the room. I pointed behind the dresser, Robin quickly ran and pushed the dresser out of the way before entering the exit. I motioned for everyone to follow him, me being the last to enter, pulled the dresser back over the hole. We ran in the dark, and halfway through, the door of my room got busted in.
"Where are they?" One of the men asked.
"There's no way they could have disappeared," Another man, with an accent, answered.
"Check the other rooms. Julie gave us strict orders to kill them. She's not going to be too happy if she finds out that we couldn't find them," The first man said.
"Yessir!" All of the men replied to him.
We all paused, huffing from being out of breath.
"Woah, we're one of the most wanted people on the ship now!" Ash exclaimed excitedly.
"That's not something to be happy about, one guard sees us and we're dead," Winsley complained.
I nodded, we needed to be on high alert from now on, but it was pretty cool. Now we just need to figure out how to get a guard suit with a helmet. Only the strongest and better guards get the helmets, as a form of status, so that means it will be extremely hard to get a suit.
I pushed my way past everyone, "C'mon we need to go get that suit."
"Yes ma'am!" Ash joked.
I smiled but kept walking forward. The truth is, I didn't know where I was going.
Eventually I found an opening inside the wall of the ship. It was blocked off, but I continued to push on it. Robin and Ash came beside me to help push too. It took a couple of tries, but then I pushed too hard. The metal board gave, and I tumbled through the wall. We were in an empty room, with no furniture, people, or anything. Just a door and walls.
"What is this place?" Taylor asked, stepping out from the tunnel.
"It's just an empty room, probably boarded off on the other side of the ship," I replied.
Taylor nodded and continued to look around the dull, gray room.
"What are we supposed to do now?" Ash asked, "We can't really go out and do anything, we're being hunted for."
I shrugged and Ash held out her hand to help me back up on my feet. I grabbed it, and hobbled on my feet once I got up. She laughed at me trying to balance and tried to help me.
"Did you take a hard roll?" She asked, putting her hands on my arms, trying to stand me up straight.
"Did you see me? Of course I did!" I said laughing.
She kept her hands on my elbows, standing in front of me, even when I could finally stand normally. I looked at her, she was looking at me, like she was studying me. We met eyes, but something pinged in my stomach and I quickly backed away. What was that feeling? It felt weird and uncomfortable, I've never felt it before.
"Uh.. Thank you," I said, looking down.
She was now blushing, "Yeah, no problem."
She gave a quick nervous chuckle before turning around and walking over to Taylor.
