Chapter 1

Ayesha's POV

Today is the worst day because tomorrow we go back to school all I could think about was boys none of the boys caught me eye except one and that was Shaun. I heard from my girls that he liked me too. So, the only thing I was waiting for him to ask me out. But then there was school the homework, learning, and stuff. And then there is the drama, friends, relationships and stuff. I wanna just skip school. I don't wanna be there I'm just there because of Shaun. I go to Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles, California. I have all my classes with Shaun and in every class I plan on sitting by him. The Sweetheart Dance is coming up that's the dance where the girls ask the boys I am planning on asking him but so is Adrianna she is much more prettier than I am and she likes him too. I'm in the 10th grade. I'm 16

Shaun's POV

I really really like Ayesha and I heard from my boys that she liked me too. But I scared to ask her out because she is so pretty and she might say no. And I heard that Adrianna liked me but I really don't like her. The Sweetheart Dance is coming up and I also heard that she was planning on asking me. I'm the only one in my crew that doesn't have a girl. I'm planning on asking her out today. Oh wait her she comes.

Me: Hey Ayesha.

Ayesha: Hey Shaun. Um Noah told me that you had something to tell me.

Me: Yeah. I did I was wondering if I um could um uh um have your phone number.

Ayesha: Uh Yea Sure I guess.

We exchanged numbers and later that night I called her.

Ayesha: Hello

Me: Hey Yesha. Wait can I call you that?

Yesha: Sure. What you doing?

Me: Nothing. I was going to ask you if you wanted to go to the mall with me.

Yesha: Sure. Drop me off at about 10. Ok.

Me: Ok. It's 4 now I'll be there around 4:45. Ok.

Yesha: Ok. Bye. See you soon.

Ayesha's POV

I just got off the phone with Shaun and he just asked me to go to the mall with him. He just asked me on a date I'm pretty sure of it. I put on my red shirt that said nike on it and a high-waisted skirt. I told my mom I was going out and she said make sure you are home by 10. I said I know and waited for Shaun on my front porch. He finally showed up.

Shaun: First, we'll go to BurgerMeister to eat and we can of shopping afterward is that okay?

Me: Of course.

Shaun: Nice outfit.

Me: Thanks. Can you turn on the radio.

Shaun: *Turns on radio*

Shaun turned on the radio and All Me by Drake. So, of course I started singing

Shaun POV

We got to the mall and we walked into BurgerMeister and we saw Marlin and Robin Of course we sat down and ate with them. Marlin is like my best bro and I can tell him anything.

Ayesha's POV

We made it to BurgerMeister and I saw Robin with Marlin. Robin is my BFF she is like my sister. I can tell her everything and anything. She is the best.
