Warrent Marcus picture, he looks kinda stoic but he just a silly dad that like to joke with his family and loves his daughter a lot. Although he rarely shows it.
"Mom" Felicia call her mother in almost crying voice
Lucia Marcus look up to see her daughter looking sad. She thought Felicia was still mad about last night. As a mother that loves her daughter she also did not want to force her. If not, for her father that beg her. She would never force Felicia.
But now when looking at her daughter so sad.She starts to think how to avoid the marriage without angering her father. Lucia did not want her father to end up in a hospital because of heart attack or anger. As healthy he looks the old man cannot take that kind of simulation.
"Come, mom already cook your favorite meal. Mom apologized for last night but you have to understand. You Grandfather is sick and old, this was his last wish. Mom cannot bear to refuse your grandfather wish. But if you really don't want to get marry with Xu Ren, mom will try her best to somehow turn down the marriage" Lucia took her daughter's hand and held it gently as if to give her support to her daughter.
Felicia starts to choke with tears as she said " I'm...sorry mom. I did not mean to get angry last night. I-I..I will try to accept this marriage. But I have to meet him first, I need to know what kind of person he is" Felicia hug her mother tightly. Tear rush out as she makes her decision.
This scene did not happen in her past life as she avoids all her family until the day she runs away leaving a piece of paper to make sure they don't find her. Although her family still send someone to pick her up but at that time she was stubborn and under the influenced of the system props.
Until four months later, the influenced end. Even when she wants to return she was too ashamed and afraid. She did not understand why she can do that kind of thing. So she thought at least until she succeeds she will return home to apologize to her parents but the apocalypse arrived before she even gets to meet them.
When she thought to find them, Christina begs her not to go. It was too far and dangerous at that time to go back to her family home. So she gives up one again under the system influenced. How could Christina let her go as Felicia was an Air Protoss that can protect her until she found other strong men to protect
her.
"Well stop crying, today your mother personally cook. It's rare to taste her delicious food" Warren Marcus say
"Dad" Felicia release her mother and give a big hug to his father
"Urrgghh...my princess is so heavy. I think my waist is going to break" Warren says jokingly
"Dad. I'm not heavy" Felicia pout.
"Yes...yes Fefe, just as light as feather that can be blown away by the wind" Warren chuckle lightly
"Mom! Look at dad always joking on my weight" Felicia look for help from his Lucia
"*Clap*...now stop lets go take our breakfast, we don't want it cold. the food would not taste good" Lucia give a wry smile looking at this father and daughter
"Well dad start this first"
"Yes..it's dad fault, now come. You did not eat last night I'm sure you hungry"
They went to the dining room. Felicia almost forgets how big the dining room was. Afterall, when he runs away, Felicia can only afford to rent a small room.
It was a rich breakfast, freshly cooked egg benedict, bacon, toast, a variety of jam, waffles with flax and almond butter, scramble egg and freshly squeezed orange juice.
"Try taste it, although I'm not sure how it would taste. I follow the recipe precisely and it look's good, certainly, the taste is also good...I hope?" Lucia looks nervously at her daughter and husband.
"Well what should I eat first" Felicia took the egg benedict and eat it with proper etiquette. Although her family, not the type to put important on etiquette we still had to learn. As when we eat in front of other family or went to the banquet. We will not tarnish the Marcus Family name
"Well, it tastes good" Felicia compliment her mother sincerely.
"Well I'm glad you like it"
As Felicia munch the food 'crunch'. 'I think I just bite the eggshell'. Without any change on her face, Felicia resume eating her food. The food tastes good but sometime Felicia will found eggshell, or accidentally bite the bitter orange seeds. Overall, it was a warm breakfast that Felicia had not have since ages.

Look like Mama Lucia was also a clumsy woman. At least she knows how to cook despite Felicia has to eat the eggshell or orange seeds...Hahaha... So her fiancee was named Xu Ren.
