Chapter 3 - Who did it!

Seokjin opened the door of the studio. On the way there they were all silent, especially Namjoon. Did Sin have anything to do with this? Maybe she's innocent after all...

'C'mon, let's go.' Seokjin said while looking at Namjoon.

'Y-Yeah, sorry.' Namjoon replied, they stepped inside.

'It looks like nothing has changed... Nobody is here either, strange.' Yoongi said.

'I guess a police investigation wasn't necessary since the cause of the accident is already known?' Hoseok said.

'The cause isn't known, they're basing it off of what they think!' Yoongi said.

'Relax, we're not getting any further if we shout at each other.' Namjoon said.

'..Right.' Yoongi and Hoseok said at the same time.

'This isn't illegal right?' Seokjin mumbled as they walked towards the broken stage.

'I hope..' Hoseok replied.

'Well, that's reassuring.' Seokjin scoffed, he carefully stepped onto the stage and walked towards the pole which had fallen down first.

'The thread's still here.' Seokjin said, he grabbed his phone and took a picture. Namjoon looked at him while raising a brow.

'Evidence.' Seokjin said, 'In case.. y'know, it was a murder attempt..' Seokjin looked at the smashed stage light, he noticed something with the stage light's cables.

'Holy.. Even though the stage light came lose because of the wobbly and unstable structure the cables were still cut!' Seokjin said.

'How's that possible, even if someone cut the cables lose we'd have seen it on the security footage, and how would you even-' Hoseok was cut off by Yoongi gently hitting him on the shoulder.

'I mean, the first part of the cable was cut. It means someone must've known that the stage light would be detached from the structure and cut part of the cables so that the stage light would fall down!' Seokjin quickly snapped a picture of the cables.

'We should talk to Sin, ask her who last tempered with the structure.' Namjoon said.

'Uhm.. I don't think you two are the best of friends..' Hoseok said.

'True.. But honestly, she owns the building so she has to know it right? Or at least have a clue.' Namjoon muttered.

'Sin said the building was "inspected" before use, so maybe those "inspectors" have something to do with it?' Seokjin said while carefully climbing out of the fallen structure. Before Yoongi could say something his phone buzzed, he sighed and grabbed his phone.

'Who is it?' Hoseok asked.

'It's Jimin, sayin' he's bored.' Yoongi replied.

'Wait, if this person tried to kill Jimin once what's stopping him or her from doing it twice?' Yoongi said, none of the others members said anything.

'None of you thought of that?' Yoongi looked at them with disbelief, he grunted and turned around.

'JIN, YOU'RE DRIVING.' Yoongi shouted.

'WAIT UP, Namjoon, can you stay here with Hoseok and investigate a bit more? Text me when you got something!' Seokjin said, he rushed out of the building and followed Yoongi to his car.

'But- HOW ARE WE GETTING HOME THEN-...' Namjoon shouted but too late, the other two were already gone.

'Nice, that'll mean walking..' Hoseok whined.

'Yep..'

[Jimin, you're still in the hospital right? [MotionlessMin]

[..yeah, you thought I'd walk outta here? ・_・ [ChimChim]

[Just stay there, ok? [MotionlessMin]

[Again, you thought I'd WALK out of my room?.. ・___・[ChimChim]

Yoongi chuckled shortly and looked up.

'Are we almost there?' Yoongi asked.

'Yah, one more minute. And really, you're overreacting.' Seokjin shook his head.

'How so? I'm looking out for him..' Yoongi said.

'Hospitals are safe, protected and contain security guards. He'll be fine.' Seokjin.

'Studios are supposed to be safe too, they also have security cameras which are watched 24/7 by security guards.' Yoongi said with a cold voice.

'Aight, point taken.' Seokjin said, he parked the car in front of the hospital. Yoongi and Seokjin went into the hospital, heading straight to Jimin's room. They knocked on the door, no response. Before Seokjin could stop Yoongi, he pushed open the door loudly. Jimin was sleeping, with his phone next to him.

'Idiot.' Jin gently hit Yoongi on the head. Yoongi smiled and set down next to Jimin on the bed, turning off his phone to save the battery.

'I think we should go.' Seokjin whispered.

'Aish, eomma, should you be looking out for him?' Yoongi whispered back.

'I'm looking out for him, just not 24/7..' Seokjin whispered. A buzz startled both of them. Yoongi looked down, it was Jimin's phone.

[UNKNOWN NUMBER IS CALLING]

Yoongi looked at it a bit confused, he grabbed the phone and answered it. Trying to be as quiet as possible so Jimin wouldn't wake up.

'Yo?' Yoongi softly said.

'Why hello, Yoongi.' A distorted voice said, he couldn't even make it if it was male or female.

'..Who the hell is this?' Yoongi said with a more serious tone.

'Oh, the impoliteness! I feel insulted!' The voice said, followed by a short chuckle.

'Say, how's the sleeping beauty?' The voice asked.

'I'll ask you again, who are you?' Yoongi said, who the hell did this person think he was?

'Oh my,  pigs never learn, do they?' The voice said, Yoongi frowned and stood up.

'Listen mate, I'm not interested in all that bullshit. You either say who you are or I'm hanging up-'

'Hyung?..' Yoongi looked down and realized he had woken up Jimin.

'It's late... Why are you here?..' Jimin yawned.

'Just go to bed Jimin, don't worry about it.' Seokjin said in a reassuring tone, he ruffled through Jimin's hair. 

'Nyah... I'm not... tired..' Jimin said, while his eyes were already half closed. Seokjin chuckled, he laid Jimin down and put the blanket over him.

'Good night.' Seokjin whispered, Jimin smiled and drifted off to sleep quickly. Yoongi stared with disbelief at Jimin's phone, whoever called hung up as soon as Jimin was awake. Yoongi looked up to Seokjin.

'This is serious..' Seokjin said.
