This morning I woke up to my alarm blaring and switched it off ready to get out of bed but felt extremely sick so I just went back to sleep.

This time I actually woke up. I fluttered open my blurry eyes and rubbed them. Suddenly there was a splitting pain in my head. I mumbled a few swear words and tried to lift myself out of bed, it failed. i ended up on the floor with a throbbing head and knee. I just sighed and stood and went downstairs. i went into the kitchen to look for something to eat and found a note which said,

To kenzie,

When I woke up this morning you had a very high temperature and looked very pale so I let you stay home, I left some Advil for you incase, and there is lots of food on the cupboard.

I chucked the note In the bin and gulped down the Advil much better I thought. After a while of hunting down some food I decided on a blue powerade and lays chips. I put then on the couch and slowly walked up to my room to grab my phone. I unplugged it from my night stand and slowly but steadily walked down the stairs. I sat back down on the couch sand gulped down some powerade. I flicked on the Telly and decided on watching gossip girl but they were reruns so I put on some dance moms! After a bit of watching me dance my phone lit up with a text from mom.

💐Hey kenz how ya feeling? Just a reminder that dance starts at 4:00 so start getting ready at 3:15. xx

🌼 Hi mom I'm felling a bit better now tht I took the Advil and ill start getting ready soon xx

After I replied i check the time 3:00, plenty of time so I trudged up stairs to have a shower.

I went to my room and grabbed some clothes for dance which consisted of a light and dark blue floral lace crop top and booty shorts and a ALDC top, jacket and pants. I walked to the bathroom locked the door and took off my previous clothes. I switched on the water and hopped in. I quickly washed my hair with my shampoo and conditioner then washed my body. I turned off the water and hopped out I dried myself I put on my clothes and blow dried my hair. I quickly braided a part of my hair and put it in a pony tail. I unlocked the door and walked back to my room and put my clothes on my bed and put on some makeup which was mascara natural eyeshadow and some baby lips. I grabbed my dance bag and packed it with jazz shoes, tap shoes, ballet shoes, pointe shoes, extra clothes I went down stairs and got 3 water bottles and some snacks. I text my mum saying I was ready and say on the couch finishing the powerade and chips I put the rubbish in the bin and turned in some gossip girls. I watched gossip girls for about 30 mins then my mum got home. Maddie ran upstairs and changed then we left. it takes about 40 mins to get to ALDC so on the way we listened to the radio and texted. we finally arrived and we ran into the dancers den.

When i ran into the dancers den I quickly took off my jacket,top and pants leaving me in my crop top and booty shorts. we still had 15 mins before dance so I drank some water and warmed up. finally at 4:00 abby came out and told us to go inside and warm up. Once we finished warming up abby said we were starting with the group dance we finally finished the group dance after 2 hours and started solos Paige was first so we went out to get a drink. I quickly got a drink then went to studio c that was empty to practice my solo. I took my phone in as I had the music on there and plugged it into the doc. I pressed play and started I was to busy to notice but someone was watching me I kept dancing until the dance was over and looked up from my end pose abby was watching tears running down her face.

"Mackenzie... that was fantastic!" She told me. "you never make me cry!"

"Thank you miss abby!" I said back

" well it's time for your solo but we're only going to it run a couple of times and work on your turns and toes as that was fantastic!" abby told me

"Okay!" I replied"

We went back to studio a and worked on my solo for 45 minutes. after working on it miss abby dismissed me but Maddie still had to practice her solo so I went back to the dancers den and warmed down and put my clothes back on and went and sat up in the the mums room. once Maddie finished she warmed down, put her clothes on and told us she was ready to go. we said our goodbyes and got in the car and drove home. on the way a fell asleep so when we got home Maddie woke me and I had a quick shower and went to bed without dinner as I wasn't hungry. as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell straight asleep.

Mackenzie's dance wear on the side. I'm pretty sure all the girls have it lol.
